4/5, I got the burger because I smelled it from the street and I wasn’t disappointed. It was definitely good but simple. The bartender/cook was nice. However, the bathroom was extremely rundown. I think the Simmzy’s burger outclasses this one for sure and for a only a few more dollars.

Burgers order to your liking, I order Rare/Med rare and every time they come out perfect. Meat is from next door Manhattan meats if you want a great burger at a old school bar this is the spot. If you are looking for a meat alternative or some kinda trendy bar this is not for you. The burgers absolutely crush the more expensive local spots(Joey,Hopdoddy, Standing room, Simmzys etc.. all good burgers but not their focus)The reason most places wont serve a great rare burger. Bustling dive bar in Manhattan Beach that’s located right next to Manhattan Beach Meats. Came here with a couple of friends on a Tuesday night around 6pm and the place was busy. Indoor dining only, no outdoor options available. Metered street parking is available. Credit cards are accepted but there’s a slight discount if you pay with cash. You order at the bar (no table service available).

Super old school dive bar, this place has been open since 1927, what is there not to love. Great burgers & beer. People are nice and actually talk to you. Love this place. They have a walk up window for burgers so cool.

Good spot to hang out with friend on a week day. Was there last thursday night and it had a full house. No place to sit for about 10 minutes…but the wait was worth it. We ordered that day’s special 2 for 1 burguers, had 10 orders infront of us but so while we waited we had a couple of beers and some tequila shots so when our orders were ready we were getting hungry…just in time! Good service from the bartender!
