Brought to you by Tony Carbone, of The Urban Epicurean, EPICUREO is taking a 1950’s approach to pizza (no phone, no online ordering). Walk-in orders only. Come by. Say hello. Order your pie. EPICUREO is open Tuesday – Friday starting at 11:30am to sell out. We will update our Instagram/Facebook stories as soon as we sell out for the day. I had the pleasure of trying Epicureo pizza (many many times) and I must say, it truly lives up to its reputation as the best new pizza in town. The moment I took a bite of the pizza, I knew I was in for an incredible eating experience. The dough was simply incredible – perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining soft and chewy on the inside.

This tiny pizza takeaway in the old tannery turns out some of the best pies I’ve ever had the opportunity to eat. The thin, hand stretched dough was light as a feather, stiff as a board. The exterior had just enough delicious char from the high temp, the toppings were generous, but restrained enough to not weigh down the dough. Masterful.

My family and I just tried Epicureo for our first time and it’s already our new favorite spot! The four cheese pizza was amazing; a crispy bottom with the perfect char and a nice balance of delicious sauce and cheese on top.

We just had our first EPICUREO pizza at their new location in the Tannery complex, and it will not be our last! We got the garlic and herb pizza, which is their take on a white pizza, a variety of cheeses, garlic, lemon, and herbs. The addition of lemon was unique and pure magic.

Tony came to our fundraiser loaded with enthusiasm and good cheer! Along with his upbeat and pleasant personality, he works clean , organized and the pizza is delicious. He brings his homemade dough and special combo of toppings and cooks until everyone is full! Since our guests had just completed a 64 mile bike ride, they were ready to eat and drink and he did not disappoint! I’ll definitely hire him for our event next year but, in the mean time, am looking for another reason to have him at another party!

Love the attempt. Dough is great -chewy and bakes nicely – but the dough to topping ratio is heavy on the dough, ie too much crust. Sauce is a little sweet and pepperoni is indistinguishable. But I’m very picky when it comes to amazing pizza. I’ve had the best of the best at Tinderhearth in Maine.

Had my first pizza here and I will be back! I’m used to Boston’s best pizza shops and I can honestly say that this pizza is right up there with all of them. The dough was light and airy with a good char and the rest of the ingredients were fresh! Definitely recommend!
