We stopped by here 15 minutes before closing. We took a quick look at the menu and decided to walk in. The server was a friendly lady who let us to stay to have our lunch. She was amazing! I ordered a Mediterranean Salad with a orange and my partner did a Berry Zinger Salad with iced tea, both of them were delicious! We also split a Good Old Burger! I loved the pictures on the walls for sale and the atmosphere inside. There were just few people in, but we loved it! ️

There is no better way to begin your day in Millinocket! Honestly, just go and enjoy it. You’ll feel like a local and you’ll leave with a full stomach. This place is so great we stopped by multiple times during our stay.

The homemade English muffins, tater tots, and donuts are a great way to stay fueled up for exploring the wilderness of Maine!

While staying at Big Moose Inn, we wanted to have breakfast in town and we saw that this location had a good rating. It was decorated nicely with lots of art work on the walls. Our waitress was Leah. I ordered the special, Egg Benedict ($15), which came with tots and my wife ordered the Abol omelet ($15) which was 3 eggs stuffed w/ feta, spinach, Kalamata olives, roasted red pepper & Scallion served w/ toast (she got the homemade English muffin) and tots. The food was very good and hit the spot. Leah did a great job (even brewed a fresh pot of decaf for my wife), and if we are ever in the area again, we will return.

Solid breakfast cafe. We ate here for a late breakfast on a slow Sunday morning in the early fall. Milinocket special, chopped tater tots with grilled onions and cheese with two eggs on top, was exactly as described, and was very tasty. The special French toast with apples was also very good. Food was served hot and well prepared. Servings sizes were generous. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices weren’t cheap, but reasonable for these days.

Great little cafe with friendly, efficient services. I had breakfast there twice while I was visiting for a week of hiking in Baxter State Park. Both days I had an omelette which was excellent. One of the days I had a awesome chocolate donut that was warm out of the oven. If you are a millinocket Maine, you must go here for breakfast.

On our first trip I got the blueberry lemon cheesecake French toast. It was glorious. We’ve been back 3 times since and the food has not let us down. The gluten free bread is wonderful. Today I also got a blueberry lemon donut. They are HUGE. It is the absolute best donut I’ve ever had. Cakey, tart then sweet… Heavenly.

Wow, this place is a great find! If you’re in the Millinocket area, eat here! They have the best donuts around. I mean, all their food is great but those donuts are absolutely delicious, all flavors! Their wait staff is very friendly and didn’t miss a beat, our order was perfect! We ate breakfast here but took 3 donuts to go. Next time we’re in the area, we will be back!

At breakfast at the cafe my son tells me “the 22 people here right now account for 1/2% of the population of Millinocket”. Telling. Ghe food is hearty and delicious. Omelets are chuck full of veggies or whatever you choose. The coffee is strong and yummy.
We didn’t miss a morning.

Stopped by here for breakfast before a day of hiking. Basic menu items that are all as good as one expects from an older diner-style staple of the town. Friendly staff that knew, or at least acknowledged everyone that came through the door with a smile.

Highly recommend their monstrous squash donuts!
