I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was absolutely delicious — a flavor that words can’t fully describe. The naan was excellent, and the Mango Lassi paired perfectly with my lunch. The portions were generous. I planned to take photos, but the food looked and smelled so good that I forgot. Overall, I highly recommend Konarq.

Inside the Public Marketplace food court center. Quality Indian food. Slowly working my way through all the dishes. Haven’t had a bad one yet. Great flavors and good portions.

Great serving of cashew chicken, rice and salad for the price. I’d have preferred it spicier. Super fast service.

I come to the bay area for travel frequently and I ALWAYS come here to get amazing food. The chicken Tikka is bomb, the lamb is on another level and always get a ton of nann !! I think about this place when I am gone because it is really good.

As lifelong resident, sadly, I have to say that this entire Emeryville market installation is overpriced, only suitable for 1% of the locals, and a lot of the food has a mall flavor to it as did my combo plate, with chicken curry, and lamb Curry, with Naan, and a mango Lassie, all of which cost me $33.
This is literally double the price of places like Indus Village in Berkeley.
Both currys were bland, and the non was absolutely flavorless, having been pre-cooked and then stored in tin foil.
People not native to this area may like this place cuz they don’t know of the other places that are available, or maybe it’s just convenient for them, but this restaurant, and this entire market installation we’re not designed with local people in mind, period.
Having said that, the people working there were very nice, and cordial and helpful when I asked questions. I just wish the food was better, less expensive, and available to many of the low-income or working class people that live in the surrounding neighborhoods that installations like this have replaced

The ras malai wasn’t really for me and the salad was underwhelming, but the chicken tikka masala was incredible with the jasmine rice

Only Indian food outlet in complete complex- indeed a bold decision.

Food options – veg & Non veg – 5/5

Tried
Palak paneer with rice – 3.5/5 very mild- Food served at room temperature-lot of scope for improvement.
Samosa- 3/5 filling can be bit spicy, reduce filling a bit & make crispy overall.

Pricing – ok

Most of the food I’ve tried is way too sweet for me. I’d love them to take most of the sugar out of the naan and the chicken tikka masala.
TBit the lamb shank is delicious!
