Haven’t had EMPIRE Pizza since I relocated. Its still just as good as I remember it. Ordered a whole pepperoni pie and had to try a slice of their Elote pizza.
My favorite part is the sauce, I love that it has a tangy, sweet taste to it. The cheese and crust are also good, you can get a good cheese pull depending on how much you put on it. As you can see the slices are pretty bug and they use a decent amount of topping. You can even make do with the slice and drink combo but recommend a whole pie, its just that good.
Thin, nepolitan-like crust with no flops, the outer crust is very chewy and not dry. There’s a lot if flavor ti their pizza even with minimal toppings.
The Elote Pizza has a unique flavor to it. There’s a spice to it from the chilli powder seasoning they use, reminds me of Lucas powder from when I was a kid. The spicy mayo compliments this very well and they don’t oversaturate the pizza with it which is nice. The pieces of corn was a nice touch and again they don’t overdue it. And there is a lemon/lime zing to it. A really unique flavor.
Overall still pleased with everything I purchased and will continue to support their business the more Ibcan visit downtown. BE WARNED, because it is downtown parking is atrocious but it is worth it to stop in and have a slice. It’s the best food downtown.

Great little place downtown for pizza and drinks. It’s small, so not much room for large parties. Great service too. The pizza is delicious, nice thin crust and the slices are a generous portion. The wings are meaty and a good heat on the sauce.

Was downtown Tucson and I just needed a quick slice and a Coke as I was out and about. This $5 deal hit the spot and l liked the cheese, and will try the pepperoni next time!

The quality of the food has gone down as much as the price has gone up. They charge $1 for the tiny triangle to-go box. Hilarious. Not gonna pay 7 bucks for a slice of old, mediocre pizza. Great staff, though. Super friendly.

Just lost a loyal customer place is going to dump can never get a consistent staff or better yet a consistent slice one day slice is burnt and small or burnt and cold went in some white chick at the counter act like she couldn’t understand English had an whole attitude because I asked for the owners info refused to give it to me the guy literally grabbed my slice with his bare hands no gloves and they are just hiring any kid from u of a who needs a job I’m going to Brooklyn where they are ten times better and consistent David I hope u see this owner! The atmosphere is lively with a great mix of food and drinks. The pizza tastes fresh and flavorful every time I visit. Staff members are upbeat and provide excellent service. The bar area feels fun without being overwhelming. Prices are fair and portions are generous. The space is clean and well maintained which adds to the experience. Service remains consistent even when the place is packed. It has become a go to spot for both food and fun.

Great pizza and fun flavors! The menu is a bit hard to get ahold of (unless i’m missing something), we found there most up to date items on instagram. Cool local joint though, would recommend the tikka masala and elote!!

I had an amazing experience at this pizza place! The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect with my order, and you can really tell they care about their customers. The pizza was hot, fresh, and packed with flavor, definitely some of the best I’ve had. Great service, great food, and a great atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to everyone!

Ive been several times, but today was garbage. Myself and 2 coworkers walked over for lunch. The cashier was great, the pizza was horrible. I got a piece so burnt, all i could taste was char. Both my coworkers was on the raw side. Normally we order a slice, eat it and order another. Today the first piece went to the garbage can and we left.
