We had a very nice server and he was very attentive. Food was served hot and quickly. Never saw him again after we paid for our meals. We did have a guest appearance after our meal. That’s when we decided to leave.

Stopped by this weekend and it was honestly pretty dope. The different salsas they brought out at the start of the dinner kept us sated as we reviewed the menu. I can’t remember the name of the marg I got but the drink menu is different from the one online! As for food I had the tamales, esquites, and pappitas. I chose the ancho sauce and with a little bit of help from the six different bottles of salsa on the table to choose from, I devoured my plate.

Came here on 01-01-26 and the chips and drinks were good.
Until we got our food and a roach crawled out of our second basket of chips…
The roach started crawling all across the table and we had to capture with a bowl and show the staff.
The waitress seemed not phased and said “oh that happens at all restaurants. And then asked us what she wanted them to do with it”
Thankfully our whole meal was comped, however we did not eat any further and left promptly after. Worth to avoid.

My boyfriend and I had a really great experience here! We both got the enchiladas and they were sooo good. The food came out fresh and tasty, and our waitress was super nice the whole time. We’ll definitely be coming back! P.s they give you free chips and salsa

Today we returned to Iguana Mia, a place we had previously enjoyed, and unfortunately the experience was terrible.
We were seated for approximately 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Eventually, a server came over and explained that he had been having issues with the computer and therefore hadn’t been able to take our order. While we understand that technical problems can happen, there are other ways to ensure customers are not completely ignored.
He then took our order, but shortly after returned to ask again what we had ordered, which was already concerning. We patiently repeated our order. More time passed and we still had not received even water or the drinks we had already requested.
Another staff member approached us and asked whether we had been helped. We explained that we were still waiting, with no drinks and no food. Eventually, one plate was brought to the table — even though there were two of us. Ten minutes later, the second plate arrived, and only at that moment were our drinks finally brought out, when one of us had already finished eating.
The level of disorganization was obvious, and the entire experience was extremely frustrating. We asked for a to-go container, paid, and left because we did not want to remain there any longer.
What made it even more upsetting was noticing an elderly couple seated behind us who had been there before we arrived. When we left, they still only had two sodas on their table and had not yet received their meals.
It is truly disappointing, especially since on previous visits we had been very pleased with both the food and the staff. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.

Stopped near the Edison Mall in Ft. Myers for a quick lunch before some necessary but dreaded shopping. Didn’t expect to have the best fish taco I have ever eaten. Hubby had the taco salad with shredded chicken and fresh jalapenos. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Great place!
