By far the best chicken parm I had in my life. The waitress was very pleasant with us and the owner and Chef Jerry, was very nice. The vibe was amazing, and the free bread was my favorite part. They had a nice and fancy presentation. Recommend to anyone.

I wish I could give six stars! It has been a long time since we’ve had such a good meal in a restaurant… they graciously accommodated my wife, daughter and I even though we didn’t have a reservation and they were expecting a large party… from appetizer to dessert, everything was fresh, homemade, and delicious.
The staff were warm and attentive.
The cheesecake was literally the best I’ve ever had.
Thank you. This sort of establishment is so rare in this day and age. Keep doing what you’re doing.

Quaint restaurant with delicious food and wonderful service and atmosphere! Make sure you save room for dessert:-) This was out first time there and looking forward to going again very soon. Reservations recommended to guarantee. Check out their website for their menu and pictures.

One of the best meals we have had in a resturant ever.
Oh my al’dente pasta usually i expect mushy pasta.
The waitress was great! helpful,, and she took her time slowly explaning every dish and promised we would like it hahah we did
Its got a good atmosphere nice and quiet dimly lit but i could read the menu.
Even the doggy bags are good they wrap them in celophane so they dont leak in the car.

Reservations recommended. They were able to accommodate 2 of us without reservations on a Thursday(but had to turn others away while we were eating.) Small but very nice, clean restaurant. Delicious food, reasonable prices, great dinner music and Hunter, the waiter, was a very pleasant young man who is good at his job. Highly recommend the antipasto della casa. (plenty for 2)

Cipollina is such a wonderful spot in Akron! The service is always so personable, and the food is delicious. There’s a decent assortment of wines, and the bread is so good! Would recommend checking out this restaurant.

I had heard of the restaurant from clients so I decided to to take the jaunt from Clarence to Akron … what a pleasant experience .. from beginning to end our waitress was amazing! She was right on with her recommendations and knowledge of the food … we ordered the homemade bursts over caponata which was amazing and the white meatballs in wine sauce both outstanding.. for the main I ordered the lasagna which I never do at restaurants .. we make lasagna with béchamel and 99% of restaurants don’t make it this way … wow was it amazing .. can’t wait to go back … it’s lacking just a few things that’s why I will give them 5 stars if they could PLEASE PLEASE DIM THE LIGHTS AND ADD A VOTIVE CANDLE AT EACH TABLE this would be truly a magical experience with food this good

Homemade pasta for $22? Salad for $6? Free bread? 6 different red wines by the glass? A waitress that has been their for over 10 years? Yes, please. Our meals were as good as some of the well-reviewed places we frequent in Buffalo. A hidden gem. OK-so no exposed brick walls, or big windows, put a pleasant interior with a small-town vibe. Worth a drive.

We were a large party and had the recommended family style meal. Jerry and the staff were wonderful. They accommodated a dietary concern and prepared a delicious meal with an over abundance of food. Everything from the appetizer, entrees, dessert and service was excellent. Definitely recommend this gem in Akron.
