Food was nicely cooked and presented. Unfortunately it (all servings) had little or no flavor. Table service was adequate. Also unfortunately the restaurant needs a good cleaning and some paint. The table salt & pepper were sticky & crusty from customer use, obviously not been wiped down for many months. We were full but not content when we left. Don’t think we’ll be back.

I was excited about trying this place out since it said authentic and it had more ratings than Panda Express! Huge mistake. The food was bland tasting, and contained a hair in one of the entrees which did it for everyone else wanting to finish their meal. Initially, they only credited the meal containing the hair, but then they agreed to credit my meal after I pointed out that it was barely touched!

Quality, friendliness, quantity for price, and speed were all better than expected. The staff friendly, food quality was great. Taste was left little lacking, but nothing was bad in the slightest. Just all slightly bland. Would definitely go back. For what you pay it was more than worth the visit

It had been some time since we had eaten here so we decided to stop and have dinner on our way home from errands.

The first thing I noticed was the dining area was much more open than before and the floor was not overcrowded with tables, making it feel much more welcoming inside.

We were greeted and seated almost immediately by the hostess. Our server came to the table with menus right away with menus and to ask if we cared for any beverages.

The menu had changed radically since we were last there. Everything had been condensed to one large page. There were only two choices for a family dinner, starting with soup. We chose the $70 meal for two as it came with won ton soup and the appetizer platter. The other family dinner offered the soup of the day and no appetizer platter.

The soup arrived first. Each had two large chicken won tons as opposed to the typical small ones I have typically seen in most Asian restaurants. They were well made and not soggy. The downside of the soup was lukewarm and too salty. I did not see our server until the appetizer platter arrived so we were unable to say something right away. I began to hope I had not made a bad dinner choice.

Our appetizer platter arrived and it was loaded. Everything was hot and well made. There were 6 large shrimp in a light crispy coating, 2 delicate spring rolls, 4 large crab Rangoons and 6 barbecue pork along with a large bowl of sweet and sour sauce, and another bowl with the hot mustard, ketchup and sesame seeds. The appetizer was a meal all by itself.

Then our dinner arrived. Sweet and sour pork, special fried rice, almond chicken, broccoli beef and cashew chicken. The serving plates were loaded. Everything was delicious, delicately made and hot. Our dinner did not disappoint! We were stuffed and still had plenty to take home.

The soup was a bump in the road. I highly recommend this meal. We will definitely be back.

The first picture is our meal minus the appetizer platter. The second picture is what we brought home.

Americanized Chinese food. I have eaten here in the past and felt the food was very good but a bit bland. This time I decided to order Thai for lunch. Good but a bit bland for Thai. My mother is vegetarian and said hers was very good. My son ordered the Americanized sweet and sour chicken and loved it. Unlike other places, they have a bar and a cocktail menu which made lunch more enjoyable than weak tea or sodas. Very friendly staff and servers. Beautiful decor. A very comfortable restaurant that is great for sitting back and relaxing, as long as you expect that the food is the blander American style Chinese. I wanted a nice comfortable place for family chatting over lunch and this was perfect for it. There is always a good time and place for comfort food.

I love Chinese food, and I had high expectations for this restaurant based on its review. I was completely disappointed. Overall, I found the food lacking any inspiration. Sweet and sour was oversized chunks of tough meat with way too much breading. The Chow Mein looked more like Lo Mein….but with no noodles, just bean sprouts. Honestly, I don’t know what it was. The beef dishes were heavy on onion and lacking much meat. The fried rice was overcooked and mushy. It was $100 for dinner and we didn’t keep the leftovers. My search for good Chinese food continues.

Visited to grab take out for the house, ordered two dishes, both of which were wrong. One of which replaced chicken with shrimp which we’re severely allergic to. The receipt of what I ordered was on the bag and correct, but they apparently give you what they want back in the kitchen, not what you ordered. Do NOT eat here

The service was okay. The food was not. Rice was bland. You have to pay extra to get regular pan fried noodles you would expect with chow mein or they give you cheap crispy noodles. The shrimp dish literally had just four shrimps. The wonton soup cup that cost around four dollars and only had two flavorless wontons floating around. Teriyaki chicken was okay. Potstickers were okay. I have given both this one and the other one in West Olympia a chance. Same thing. Not worth it in my opinion unless you like tasteless food.

The food is pretty good, they don’t have kung pao! Whaaat? 🙁 Fast and friendly service, the food comes in generous portions. The spice level is not what you would expect hot is mild and mild is so so. Overall a good place!
