Have not been to Elmer’s in years, so thought we would give it another try. Boy was that a mistake. I don’t understand how they are still in business. No senior citizen menu and when we asked for one they pointed to the light menu area, which literally had 2 items on it. I would not call chicken fried steak and some ranch style breakfast much of a choice for senior citizens. That is ridiculous. Also did not see a side menu to order sides. They want you to buy combo meals and for the prices there charging is crazy high. We ended up leaving after they pointed to the ridiculous senior menu and went to red robin. Was able to get a tavern double burger bottomless fries and bottomless beverage for 9.99 now that is a price I don’t see Elmer’s ever being able to beat.

Great service, with super friendly and efficient staff. Very family friendly atmosphere, large tables available, and very big space overall, so our group of 6 had no more than a five minute wait on a weekend brunch. The food was good with a lot of options and customization available — vegetarian friendly! Everything was well-cooked, nothing exceptional, but good. Scrambled eggs were soft and well done. We really enjoyed the cinnamon swirl pancakes! The servings were huge, but you can request mains a-la-carte if you’re not looking for a big combo meal. The potato pancakes were ok, but were tough to eat as the potato was thinly sliced hash brown pieces, and fell apart as you lifted it on the fork. Plenty of parking available around the premises, and clean bathrooms adjoined to the space.

The food was fantastic and if there was a way to only tip the cook, then I certainly would have! The hostess and wait staff were horrible. First, the hostess (without us even asking) says “that sides closed because of X, y, and z.” She then proceeds to ask if we needed a high chair, which we responded “yes please.” It wasn’t until she had taken our drink order when we asked for the high chair again that she finally brought the high chair over, but we had to set it up.
Then our waitress.. made us feel very rushed, handed us scalding hot plates (we had toddlers with us as well) without telling us the plates were hot. After handing us our food, she never returned. We had zero drink refills for our entire meal. We also never received our check and then had to wait at the register for about 5 minutes before someone finally came over and asked if we needed something..
Absolutely ruined the amazing food. Can honestly say we will not be dining here again.

I hadn’t been here in a long time and was craving some breakfast for dinner. The lady that served me was very cool and often came by to see if everything was okay.
I ordered a sausage, cheese and tomato omelet with hasbrowns. I was initially disappointed that there was no toast only biscuits. Until I bit in to the biscuit . It was soooooo fluffy!!!
I was in for a bigger surprise with how fluffy the omelet was. Omg it was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back. Prices are really good and the service is amazing.
