Great Flavors, Chicken Was a Bit Overcooked
I tried the jerk chicken tacos from Taco City last night, and overall the flavors were good. The toppings were fresh, the tacos were well put together, and everything looked appetizing. My only complaint was that the chicken was overcooked, which made it a bit dry.
Other than that, I enjoyed the meal and would definitely give them another try. With slightly more tender chicken, this would’ve been a perfect bite.

honestly, i wish it had been a better experience. my sister wanted us to go down the street but i thought this was the place she wanted to go to. On the tV screen they show items they aren’t serving. I Order Horchata which was super thick mix and grainy just not good and chicken street tacos which was on the TV and street corn. my sister order beef tacos with beef and lettuce only and a chicken taco one soft one hard. I ask to change my drink and the big guy behind the counter was very annoyed and looking at his phone the entire time, i had to get a starry drink not other options available and we know fountain drinks aren’t that hot. i was nervous by thus time the food was overpriced at 30 and she was treating me we was celebrating. So then the food comes out sister has tomatoes all over her food and my chicken tacos were not what i ask for but what they serve on that day as the waiter told me. My start corn didn’t come and when i ask the Cashier said it would be coming. I said, i order what’s on the screen he said thats only on tuesday. No offer to remedy the situation. The guy who took my order who was on his phone said nothing. Totally disappointed. My sister has to send her food back because of the tomatoes and by the time she got her food and i ate mine quietly ( which was wrong) they still hadn’t brought my food out. finally my corn was brought out i was fool and it was the only thing good. She wasn’t impressed nor was I. The street flavor was grilled chicken not at all what we wanted but we didn’t want anymore glares so we just left it alone

Came here on a lunch date with my partner. Staff was friendly and service was fast. The food left a lot to be desired unfortunately. I had the chips & salsa, Caribbean Jerk, barbacoa, and carnitas tacos. My partner had the crazy fries and an elote. The meat in all of my tacos was dry and there wasn’t much else flavor wise to help. The margarita was average. I expected more for the pricing which was al carte.

Tried Taco City for the 2nd time during Louisville Taco Week. The Tacos were absolutely delicious. I went with my mom and boyfriend. Mine and my mom’s favorite was the Street Corn Taco. My boyfriend’s favorite was the Honey Cilantro Taco. They all had amazing flavor. I also tried their Strawberry Horchata which was absolutely delicious; it was sweet, cinnamony, and creamy. The gentleman who took my order, as well as the ones making the food were funny and great to be around. The atmosphere was a good-time vibe. Will definitely be back!!

Loved the pickled onions on top of the tostones. Steaming hot, crispy, thick plantain slices.
Sampler appetizer with guacamole, salsa, and queso was good. Roasted salsa is different and tasty. Serving cups look small but are a good portion.
Tortas are my go-to dish at a street taco place. I’ve had many, and the Cubana Torta was top-notch. Served on Bolillo bread as it should be and perfectly toasted. I can’t stand when I order a torta and it’s served on bread unlike Bolillo. I had the Cubana Torta, and it was packed with flavor. Had thick avocado slices and loved the jalenpenos that added the right amount of heat.
Shrimp and cajun shrimp taco were great. Again, beautiful presentation.
Buritos are huge. Well made and nice proportion of ingredients. What you expect.
Pina Colada was on point amd and the Rainbow was good. Large is very big and both drinks had enough alcohol. Lots of drinks to choose from.

Definitely one of the best places to grab some delicious tacos in Louisville! I tried their Korean BBQ taco and cajun chicken taco, both of which were excellent! I was also able to try their nachos, and would highly recommend them. Also, they have some very delicious sauces, their jalapeno sauce.
Staff were friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable and warm.
Overall, a great place to eat and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I came for the birria tacos and they did not disappoint. Our food came out quickly and they were the best tacos I’ve ever had. Outdoor dining with a good atmosphere. And their margaritas are potent!! 10/10 must try.
