Great food, the team is so kind & patient. ALL FRESH & NEVER FROZEN ingredients!! Big selling point for us. We loved that it wasn’t over priced, we ordered a few things to try since the pricing was so great. We had the special of Garlic Cheese Curds, & the Elm Dip! So yummy! My husband tried a burger, & I had the special of BBQ Nachos. Everything was great, we will be returning!

What an awesome place! We always have an hour to kill in between our kids basketball practices so we decided to try this place out on Monday night. Small establishment but incredibly family friendly! Martin had our kids laughing the whole time. The food was great and we didn’t feel rushed even though we came about an hour before closing. We will be back and will recommend to friends.

Today, we tried Elm. The owner was very friendly! The atmosphere (old fastfood restaurant style) is lacking a bit, but I’m sure that will improve over time. The food was pretty good, and not too pricey. But my biggest complaint was the fried ice cream. I am sorry, but it was not made properly and it wasn’t even fried. The chimichung cheesecake was delicious though and that I would go back for.

So my husband and I decided since it was just us that we would try Elm in New Haven. Rob ordered the steak taco salad and I got the catfish (real catfish iykyk) with rice and a side salad. My perspective of catfish the fact that was real was awesome but it was so tender yet crispy and flavorful. The side salad has all the goods tomatoes,onions, and green peppers. The rice was so good as well. I could eat it everyday. His salad was full of steak and he said that the tortilla shell was crispy yet fluffy inside. He also did the cheese was spicy lol but over all thumbs up. Our was waiter was very attentive without overdoing. The restaurant is clean and comfy. Set up for small and large families even though it is on the small side. All I can say I’ve heard mix reviews but I definitely think everyone should give it a first if not second chance.
