My wife and I have been going to Elliott since they opened. Right from the beginning, we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Over the course of the last year, we have been very interested to see all of the improvements that they’ve made. From the outside to the inside, it looks completely different. They’ve transformed it from what almost seem like a warehouse a year ago to a significantly more Attractive venue.

We enjoy the regular menu quite a bit. Very typically we will get some combination of the nachos, a burger and the chicken sandwich. All three are delicious. The chicken sandwich specifically, might be the single best chicken sandwich in Florence.

It’s nice that they do have specials on the menu. It gives you a chance to go to a place that you like and yet have some variety and a little something new. The most recent special that we had was the schnitzel which was excellent.

It’s a great place to go for dinner or to meet up with friends for a cold beer.

First time visiting Elliots: Haley was our server. She was delightful and gave recommendations after asking about our taste preferences, she let us taste a couple beers before deciding on a glass and she whipped up the Memphis Blues cocktail for me which is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Note to restaurant, you have more IPA’s than anything else in beer and I’d like to see more blonde pales or wheat’s but husband loved the Lunar Haze and the stout. Husband’s favorite food item was the cheddar sausage appetizer. Unlike anything we’ve had before in sausage and in house made! We both had the pulled bbq and he got the ribs. Ribs were meaty, tender and you could taste a whiff of smoke which was delicious. Same for the pork and they give you a large portion. Sides were collards (some of the best I’ve ever had but (note to chef) a tad salty, however, I couldn’t stop eating them! Potato salad has a “zing” to it, sweet potato fries were great, baked beans tasted like the best family reunion type beans, the kind you always look forward to enjoying. Go to Elliot’s, ask for Haley and definitely get the sausage appetizer, enjoy the cool adult beverage selections and feast on the best bbq and sides you’ve ever dreamed of!

Absolutely one of the best doing Whole Hog in the country. Great wings, burgers, ribs and sausages. The sides are on another culinary level, using the freshest local ingredients. The boiled peanuts are a must! Grab a beer & enjoy!

I never knew this place existed in Florence. When you first walk in, it’s absolutely incredible. Inside there’s a brewery in the back right where they brew their own beers. Plenty of seating, with booths, tabletops and regular tables. Had the BBQ plate with 2 sides. Absolutely incredible taste. Drinks are a little expensive, for two people our bill was $70. But overall, the food is outstanding, and it is a must visit if you love BBQ.

First time visiting after remodel. We ordered several things fron the menu.
A burger, chicken strips, buffalo chicken sandwich, tater tot nachos and the soft pretzel. All the food was served hot and fresh. The burger was ok. Nothing really special about it and the fries were crispy and fresh. Chicken tenders were hot and fresh and large. Our daughter had plenty to take home. The buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty large and the sauce is zippy. I liked it and brought half home as we had two appetizers. The soft pretzels were not huge but went well with the beer cheese. The mustard was a Dijon style and was decent as well. Last but not least. The motor tot nachos. Had high expectations. We got with the pork. Ill probably try the chicken next go around. While the portion was large. We felt it needed a bit more of the bbq sauce and toppings. The BBQ sauce at the table is not the same as what comes on the nachos.
Moreover, fun family place to visit. Next time I want to try rhe wings.

Elliott’s has the best wood vinegar bbq in the area by far. The hash and rice is a must try side! It is a sweet pork hash(not liver). The service is always good and the food is amazing. If bbq isn’t for you, their burger is one of the best around and dressed in their own unique way. My wife also loves the fried chicken sandwich. They offer a lot of unique dishes for a bbq restaurant and everything that I have tried has been excellent.

BBQ was excellent with vinegar based sauce on table to add. Had the hot-yakki wings and they were crispy. Also the swet potatoe fries had the perfect amount of salt and were delicious. Our server (Kendall) was so nice and attentive with great service!

Passing through town for one night on an RV trip and love to visit local breweries/restaurants. This place exceeded expectations. They were having a fun community event (Galentines line dancing), so it was busier than usual, but we loved the vibe! Friendly staff, fun ambience, clean facility. Cocktails and poutine were a great start (rich, yummy beer cheese, flavorful hash, and awesome walnut bitters). Tried the hazy IPA, which was excellent, then shared a plate (fabulous bbq, creamy grits, terrific collards). Would go back in a heartbeat next time we pass through; would love to see the beer garden in warmer weather. The real deal!

Let me start with what a wonderful experience and the man himself, Elliot, was there as well. The staff are super knowledgeable and attentive. The beers were delicious! And my dad had the Pinot Gris & tried the Prosecco on tap, both were good. We always share so that was we can try lots of different things. We got the Trinity (ribs, pulled pork, and cheddar jalapeño sausage) and lots of sides. We also got a half smoked chicken and the chicken tenders (yes, we have lots of left overs).
Everything came out hot and delicious but the star was not the pork but the chicken. The 1/2 chicken and the chicken tenders were so juicy and full of flavor my mouth waters just remembering. The pulled pork was good, ribs had great flavor but not fall off the bone, and the sausage was by far the tastiest burst of flavor of all the dishes.
We tried so many different sides but the ones that stood out were the French fries (for flavor), the coleslaw was fresh made, the baked beans, and the mixed beans. We loved them all. It’s a family friendly cool place to go to. So many arcade games, pool tables, big cumfy chairs, and a beer garden (that needs some updates) has the potential to be a hot spot for bands and parties.
Definitely will be back! Side note: the bathrooms were super clean and reminded me of my grandmothers.
