Overall a mixed experience. The place itself is beautiful and very clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Ordered the fried feta with hot honey and sesame seeds. It sounded amazing, but it turned out to be way too salty for my taste. Not something I would personally recommend.
That said, the falafel gyro was really tasty and full of flavor. Definitely the highlight of the meal. I’d go back for the gyros, but probably skip the fried feta next time.

Have only ordered takeout – it’s always been delicious and the portions are generous. Highly recommend! Don’t skip the baklava dessert, so good.

My job ordered from here for takeout so I didn’t get to sit and dine in but the vibe inside was so cute and it smelled soooo good in there. The food was so incredible, I’ve eaten a lot of greek food in my life as a Cypriot and this is definitely a place I would recommend and go out of my way to go back to. The customer service was amazing. I had asked for every item to be labeled with names and they did it which I know is annoying so I never expect it to actually be done but they did it. The pork yeero was so flavorful and the dolmades were phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back and I hope everyone tries this place. The staff is so nice and helpful as well. They deserve all of the business times 100.

Really tasty, authentic Greek food! I got the beef and lamb yeero and it was sooooo good and reasonably priced. The quality was high and it was so flavorful. I already can’t wait to come back for more as everything on the menu sounded delicious. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated on the outside and the inside has plenty of table seating and booth options.

Ela’s is EXCELLENT. The quality of their food is so high, it is delicious, it feels healthy and delicious at the same time, they are so generous with portions. The salads are so fresh, the rice is fluffy, and personally as a vegan I love the vegan yeero. Everything about this restaurant is well done. Super speedy, the service is very accommodating, like I didn’t know if I should add the gigante beans to my bowl so the register person just gave me a sample, which of course got me to order them. The gigante beans are SO GOOD. To me the bowl is really the best but sometimes I feel like a pure salad. The pita bread is so good, everything is good. It’s beautifully decorated and very clean. 10/10 I love this restaurant, it’s honestly some of my favorite food in Jersey City. Kudos to the staff and the owners!

Fantastic Greek food. Stopped in for a pita wrap (beef/lamb gyro) and salad (Horiatiki) and both were excellent! The salad/veggies were fresh, cold and crunchy! It’s a huge salad for $13!
The pita wrap was also amazing, the tzatziki was very fresh and pita bread was nice and soft.
Very clean and decorative on the inside. I would highly recommend this place!

Definitely a five stars place. The apps are super yummy, we ordered combo and server offered to refill bread and pita basket. Extremely fresh, authentic taste and quality ingredients. So worth a try, lunch is cheap too

Ordered food while at the hospital in Jersey City. When I tell you everything I ordered was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I will definitely have to go there on a regular basis. The French fries with the feta cheese and lemon was phenomenal. I also ordered a bowl with lamb and shrimp. The rice, OMG was SEASONED, the lamb and shrimp was delicious even the pita bread was amazing!!!!
