Visiting from Maine. I searched for Mexican Food as I had left Legoland and I was starving. Stopped at Zapata N3 and this place was incredible. Got the Mexican feeling with the incredible wood carve furniture and art, great waitress and the food was incredible, excellent, homemade Mexican food. My son had tacos and the tortillas were handmade, yum. Definitely coming back!!!! Viva Zapata!!!

Wow! We are so impressed with el Zapata!!! Craving Mexican and they delivered on that craving!!! Totally catered to my special requests and we had the most fulfilling and delicious Mexican meal at a reasonable price! The homemade tortillas are phenomenal and everything is so fresh! We will be back!!!

We had bizarrely slow/bad service here tonight, especially considering the restaurant was practically empty (one other table of four and two people at the bar- both left pretty quickly after we arrived). The food was good but our waiter was just nowhere to be found for most of our time there. It took a really long time to place our order and even more time to get it. There were things missing from our order that I wanted to ask for but he never came back to check in after dropping off our food and then quickly running off. At one point I went looking for him to say we were done and ready for the bill and saw him standing in the kitchen chatting to people but couldn’t get his attention and didn’t want to walk into the kitchen. We were finished for a good 20 minutes with all of our plates stacked at the end of the table before he came out of the kitchen to ask if we wanted dessert- I very directly said we wanted the check and we’re ready to leave. He brought the check and as I was getting my wallet out he vanished again we had no food or drink on the table and there was no reason for him to think we were wanting to hang out. He just never came back to run my card, so after ten minutes I went and stood at the counter before eventually shouting “excuse me” into the kitchen. All in all a slow and pretty frustrating experience where we felt fully forgotten. I wonder if when they’re busier and have more staff and tables maybe service is better? It was so slow there tonight and maybe he truly just kept forgetting there were customers in the restaurant? I guess I had high expectations considering all of the amazing reviews, but unfortunately our experience didn’t match.

Super friendly staff, I popped in for lunch as I was passing on a work trip and the food was great and reasonably priced. The waitress was singing, she had a great voice and the atmosphere was really good!

El Zapata Restaurant was beautiful, clean and the food was DELICIOUS!!!! Everything we had was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! And our waitress was EXCELLENT!!! I believe her name was Dara!!! She was very informative, very sweet, attentive and professional!! Beyond amazing customer service!!! We will definitely go back!!!

This is “The Spot” for authentic Mexican food. Their enchiladas & burritos with rice and beans are delish. The atmosphere at this restaurant is welcoming and the owners are very nice. Order takeout or dine in…you will not be disappointed.

The food at El Zapata is delicious! This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at on the east coast. The el pastor tacos are authentic, margaritas not made with a mix and the salsa is fresh. This would be a great place for a group as well as a fun bar scene. Highly recommend this restaurant.
