This is a dependable neighborhood classic. The staff are super friendly. The salsa has a nice kick. They added posole recently and it was just what I needed after a day of travel. And they have two different portion sizes which was lovely because I didn’t want a huge bowl. Every time I eat here the food is good.

We placed our food order on doordash so I can’t speak to the location but the food was decent. Nothing amazing, though nothing technically wrong. Just good, maybe above average.
We ordered the chimichanga el valle and the quesadilla sinceonizada. Both were totally fine, again good food, nothing wrong. I would probably order again, but there are so many better options to choose from nearby.

First off, I want to compliment our amazing waitress. Unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but she was so accommodating and patient towards my party- my husband and I, our 2 year old son, my mother in law, and my elderly aunt. (JIC management is reading this, we were in Monday 6/6/2022 in the early evening.)
The chips and spicy salsa we started with were tasty and they were served with a yummy bean dip my son couldn’t get enough of. My mother in law got the tortilla soup, and enjoyed it, even though she said it was different than what she had discovered on our trip to Puerta Vallarta last summer. She also got enchiladas, which were pretty good too – since the portions are pretty big she shared with us.
One thing to note is that El Valle doesn’t have alcohol- my aunt wanted a margarita and we had to wait til we got home, but no biggie.
My aunt got the nachos, which she said were fantastic. After our meal she approached our waitress to let her know how good they were and that she’d be thinking about them after she goes home out of state. My husband and I split the large chicken fajitas. They were also tasty and came in such a big order we were able to take our leftovers home and make tacos out of them for 3 + a toddler a few nights later.
We’ll definitely be back- so glad we decided to try this place!

When I paid my bill it wasn’t pulling up on the screen and I mentioned it to the girl…she said oh, it does that. So I signed my receipt and left a tip because it seem about where I thought the bill would come to. She wasn’t going to give me a hard copy of the receipt so I asked. I just quickly glanced to make sure we were charged for all out meals. When I got back to the hotel and was looking at the receipt they already charged me a 15% gratuity and she didn’t say anything about that. Our bill was not that big that gratuity should have automatically been added. Needless to say I do not recommend them. Make sure she brings your order up on the screen or finds a way to show you the complete receipt. Very sneaky and just wrong – I’m posting this review so you are aware and don’t let them do this to you.
She ended up receiving a 30.41 tip on my bill.

( They don’t sell alcohol ) Our server only came fast when it came to our chips and salsa and to take our order. After we got our food she didn’t come and check on us. We had to keep calling another waitress over for refills on our drinks because she was the only one available. Then she would call over our waitress.The menu prices didn’t match our receipt prices and they add gratuity without telling you. Total $124 for 2 kids and 2 adults. One adult only had water.

Stopped in for lunch. Love the 2 dips with chips. One was traditional salsa and other was bean based. I really loved the bean based on. I wasn’t too hungry so got the lunch order of relleno plate that had 1 relleno, beans and rice. It was pretty good and only $6.99. I’ll visit again.
