Food was great, but there was some confusion about the menu/price. They offer veggie fajitas, but I’m skeptical of their”for 2” vs “for 1” options as we ordered both and received the same amount of food on each except the “for 2” is double the price. The only difference other than price was that you got an extra plate with guac and pico. They don’t seem to understand when you ask for 2 orders of fajitas “for 1”…so I’m pretty sure we paid for something we didn’t receive. They have an awesome off menu habanero salsa if you like spice and a random soft serve dispenser in the waiting area.

Food was really good! I liked the atmosphere too. Server was friendly and efficient. If I’m in Palestine again, I’ll definitely be back.

It is dandy. Mother ship is from Baytown Texas. Ribs are good as well as Rita’s. Reasonable.

Loved it! James was our waiter, he was great! It had the Laredo and my husband had the El Dorado. Both were very good. I didn’t really care for the chips and salsa. That’s why the food got 4 stars, but everything else was excellent!

Got to try the El Dorado plate. It was really tasty. Mild but with so many different items held together by cheese. I was dehydrated, so I didn’t get to try any of their drinks. Maybe next time.

First time to the El Toro in Palestine. Our waitress Heather was amazing. Wait time was low, seating was comfortable, appetizers were tasty. Heather was nice, not pushy and answered any questions we had. We trusted her for some delicious food choices and she did not disappoint. My husband’s favorite thing to watch for is if his glass stayed full. It did with Heather. She was able to anticipate the needs of the table in a professional manner. Door-in to Door-out it was pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful diner experience!

Two adults and one child shared the nachos supreme ( or whatever it’s called) and the complimentary chips and dip and had plenty to eat. Good food. I love the green sauce. This is the only place to get it.

The fried avocado was amazing. Apparently it’s one of the most ordered items.

Excellent quality food! Our server Heather recommended the stuffed avocado plate with sour creme sauce and it was so crispy and filling. I’ve only had a good stuffed avocado one other time in my life in South Texas, so good job

My daughter’s food wasn’t prepared to her liking, even after specifying, there were flies that we had to fight off in order to eat, and the floor was so sticky my shoes nearly came off. Disgusting. The enchiladas and salsas are very good though.
