What an amazing place to eat with family, or sit at the bar and watch the game! Food is delicious, especially the Carne Asada and burritos! The staff, was one of the nicest, funniest group of people! This is an amazing place. We are from KS and our son liveed/worked in Hastings. Eri, Natali and Teresa are amazing. Very friendly are great hosts/servers. Our son is moving back to KS but we will keep driving 3 hours when we can to visit El Toro Hastings because we love how this 3 ladies treat us. The best mexican restaurant in NE and KS❤. Best margaritas ever and food is amazing also. I wish we have a place like this in Junction City or Manhattan KS, we loved the service❤

Very good food and very good service. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Portions are very generous. I really like how they have it decorated friendly and inviting. Would definitely stop here again when we are in Hastings.

Food was very bland and soggy service was very slow. We waited a good 20 minutes before someone even came to give us menus and take our drink order. Waited 45 minutes just to get food. People that came in well after us had food before us. We never got drink refills.

We have 2 very nice Mexican restaurants in Hastings. This is one of them. Menu is just a little pricey.. but the food is excellent.

Good food but overpriced. I also don’t understand why you don’t get a ton of salsa- other restaurants in town are cheaper and give you the bottle of salsa on your table to pour; this restaurant just brings you the little salsa bowl and you go through it in 1 minute and have to keep flagging down the staff to ask for more lol. Other than that the food and service is good.

The food and drinks here are decent if not great. I’ve only had one bad experience where the food was cold on the inside and hard on the outside out of a handful of times of eating here. The service has always been pretty good.
