Picked my wife up from RIA, she was pretty hungry getting off her flight so we stopped by this place to give it a shot. Located right on Airport Row, it doesn’t look like much from the outside, so we had some concerns going in but once you walk inside it looks totally different. Very clean and decorative place, staff was super nice sad that’s very quickly. Overall food was pretty good, I ordered my usual at a new restaurant a chili relleno, always looking for a new place who doesn’t batter the pepper, but unfortunately this place does. After pulling off all the egg batter the chili pepper was still pretty good. Salsa was pretty tasty as well. My wife enjoyed her food so it’s definitely a good Mexican joint. If we are in the area and craving some Mexican food we definitely would stop by here again.

The service was very poor. My taco has barely any meat or cheese. More of a Taco Bell size than any Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. The people with me also had very small burritos. The lady who served us was very put off to have to help us! Overall very poor experience. We will definitely go to the other Mexican restaurants near the airport as opposed to this one.

I ate here with a coworker on the way to the airport which was super convenient. We went in expecting that it was part of the El Torito chain, but quickly realized they were not, and it was actually a good thing. We enjoyed the chips and salsa. The staff were attentive and very accommodating. I was able to get an excellent vegetarian burrito served wet. I just wish we didn’t have a long travel day and could have imbibed in a margarita!

We were here from out of town (we drive semi) and we stopped in for some dinner before heading back over to the airport to pick up our trailer with our oversized load. The food was FABULOUS but didn’t even compare to the service. The staff went above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience. We highly recommend this restaurant and will be back ourselves.

Being a former Ma and Pa customer and employee (2001). This was my first time being in the building since 2018. They did an awesome job with the place. I love how roomy it is, Plus the decor like the fireplace and the entranceway when you first walk in. they have a beautiful chandelier that really starts the experience. We came in on a Sunday so there were not many customers there just one family. The service was awesome, The young man was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. And the food was on point honestly very large portions which was great because I love leftovers. Plus the bar is very nice looking. Definitely enjoyed dining here.

Margaritas were not too overwhelming and good. The steak in the fajitas was a little chewy. Was visiting and would try it again but not the best I’ve had.

This was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The steak tasted terrible, it basically got left untouched and my partner ordered steak tacos that were pretty much all gristle, even had to spit them out in a napkin. To say I was surprised at how bad it all was is an understatement.

This is either the best food ever, or the most okay food ever. But, more often than not, it’s the best food. I think it depends on the cook. Last time I went the chiles rellenos weren’t cooked right. The cheese inside was cold and unmelted, and the outside looked like it was made with a fried egg. It wasn’t that good, but I don’t like complaining. BUT I have had chiles rellenos 100 other times that were amazing! Same goes for enchiladas. There have been a couple of times where they’re obviously not cooked long enough, but when it’s done right it’s my favorite food in the world. The one consistently good thing are the Mexican potatoes they’re like $1-2 and I swear by them. Get those and some tortillas for a good cheap meal.
