We visited with a party of five on a Saturday night at 7 p.m. And received exceptional service, delicious food and a great environment. We love Cozumel (Independence location) but tried this a while back, and it’s great! This restaurant is much alrger, you have more space, it’s quiet enough you can have a good conversation and there was no wait! (There’s also plenty of parking g which is nice).

Great food and service! Drinks are awesome! Don’t know why someone said no frozen drinks, they Do have them. Will go again!

Some reviews are a bit unfair on service. I assume they were from when the place opened, as many restaurants suffer from poor service their first few weeks.

I give it two stars because the food is not bad. Every time I’ve gone though, they can’t seem to figure out how to ring up the check, they charge tax on food to go (because they came from out of state and don’t understand that we don’t charge tax on to-go food here in Ohio) and they even charge you an extra .25 cents for the takeout container! I had a good laugh about that one. Months after opening, they still can’t figure out their point of sale system, pulling out the calculator and walking around confused trying to make change. I’ve been there at least six times, and it’s always the same. A couple of them are nice and I feel bad for them, but a couple of the servers there act like every day is the worst day of their lives. I waited tables for 9 years, and worked every position in the front of the house, trained new restaurant openings in 7 different restaurants and so on. I’ve got a LOT of restaurant experience. The servers here have no training whatsoever. Being so close to two other great Mexican restaurants and a third really good one just a couple miles away means they have to be amazing to survive, but unfortunately, it’s not happening at the moment. In the restaurant industry if you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse. It’s sad because it’s the same story for every restaurant that ends up taking that space there. It’s as if they just don’t know the business and aren’t prepared for it.

We were the only two people in the place and I didn’t get what I ordered. Our waitress was very nice, and it wasn’t her fault. It was very warm in the restaurant and it smelled slightly moldy. Decor was beautiful. I hope they resolve these problems. We might try it again.

The food is average and service is not that good. I ordered one of their specialty chicken burrito, but they added shrimp for some reason. I would have been ok with the shrimps that I didn’t ask for, but the problem is that they left their nasty shells on them. So I had to open up my burrito and get messy to throw away the shells. I also ordered a small glass of margarita on the rocks with no salt, it was overpriced for what I got, its littarly 1/3 of a glass size with barely any alchohol and yes it had salt. The service was not that good either. The server totally forgets about you. I might give it another try some other time

Made a reservation for a large party when we arrived they did not have the reservation. I was not surprised though because when I made the reservation the manager wrote it on a receipt back and I didn’t even ask for a name. I had had to ask her if she wanted a name. They did accommodate us, however, the service was slow, food was adequate and the Margaritas lack alcohol and flavor.

Extremely slow service. Incredibly understaffed for a Saturday night. Took over 30 minutes to even take our drink order. The table we were seated at was so unstable that we had to keep our foot on it or risk our drinks spilling. Food was average. I was really hoping for a good restaurant for Broadview Heights in this space. Unfortunately, this is not it.

First off, I’ve bartended/served for years so I am pretty patient and understanding, but the service here was terrible. I waited 15 minutes until I got up to find the host/busser and let him know a server never came over. About 10 minutes later, one finally came to our table. The drinks and the food all took forever. The food was great, but I do not intend on returning. It wasn’t very busy and there were probably 4 servers, so I’m not sure why everything took so long. I watched other tables get annoyed as well. There are 2 other Mexican restaurants nearby, so if this place doesn’t step it up, I doubt they’ll last. Nothing seems to last in this location.

Food was great! Had the soup and taco salad! Food is great! Hard to compare with cozumel and si senor in the area but we were very happy. Service was iffy but we enjoyed the experience and will be back soon. Previous review was wrong about not having frozen drinks. They are excellent!
