I’ve never been disappointed in Mexican food before. Unfortunately, this was my first disappointing experience. My husband ordered 2 steak tacos. He said the meat tasted spoiled. I ordered nachos. They were skimpy and flavorless. We left hungry and disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE! This is the worst Mexican restaurant I have been to. The food tastes like it was microwaved/reheated. I should have known to leave when the waiter gave our table of 3 10 total chips for an appetizer. They don’t even make their own Margaritas, they pour Cayman Jack into a glass and charge you $7. What Mexican restaurant doesn’t make their own Margaritas???? My fajitas were $20 and it was mostly peppers and onions with some chewy beef and chicken. I don’t understand all the 5 star reviews. This place is horrible, you can have better food by staying home and microwaving some taquitos. The server seemed nice, he was probably just happy because we were the only customers he’s seen all week.

I ordered Steak Tacos, took one bite and could tell that the meat was spoiled. I didn’t want to embarrass the Owner in front of his other customers in the dining room so I brought the plate of spoiled Tacos into the kitchen and told the owner. He looked at me, ripped the plate of Tacos out of my hand and hostility through them in the garbage and then walked away with out saying a word! I was shocked by his behavior! My wife asked me what happened, and when I told her she was as well shocked, and said pay the bill so we can get out of here…. It will be interesting to see what the health department does when I tell them what happened…….

I hate giving a company low star reviews and the host/waiter was very friendly. The environment was not appetizing at all. Usually Mexican restaurants come out with a whole basket of chips with a good size dish of salsa. They literally served us 5 chips with a tiny little dish of salsa that wasn’t even big enough to dip a chip in. We ordered the chicken chummy Chonga and chicken quesadilla. Both entrees came with refined beans and rice. The whole meal had no flavor and the chicken was definitely from a can. The beans and rice wasn’t fresh and the rice looked like it was reheated from days ago. There was no color on either dish and it all was bland. Our meal came to about $32 and we both left feeling robbed. We couldn’t wait to leave the restaurant just the environment gave us both anxiety. We won’t be going back and don’t recommend. Very disappointed because we come to sturgeon bay twice a week and love Mexican food and hoped to have found a go to spot. Very dissatisfied and actually wish we could get our money back.
