My family met friends for an early Saturday dinner. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant has an upgraded atmosphere. There is an outside patio we opted out of since it was so hot. Menu at this location is different from the menus at Hunting Hills and Rocky Mount. This is a more specialized menu. I had the Pastor, a pork with pineapple burrito, very unique flavor, and was very good. My husband had the taco salad that was also very good. The servings were large and we needed take home boxes. We are definitely going back to this location.

The food tasted decent but our service was just plain awful. When our sodas first came to the table there were many small bugs in the cups, our waiter disappeared for awhile while we waited to get our orders taken. There were tables next to us that sat dirty for over 30 minutes, I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future but I hope they clean up before they get any violations

They tried. The server appeared to be fairly new and his English was limited. He tried very hard to provide good service. The people at the table with me said the food was okay but I didn’t hear any comments about it being fantastic. I did not eat at this meeting.

Hats off to the young waiter, but the acp was void of cheese queso. Also was missing the Pico de galo, which was described in the menu. Food was bland!

My order took 30 minutes to get to my table and all I ordered was 2 tacos and dip, also my server was rude and seemed to avoid me every time I tried to get his attention, I had heard good things about the restaurant and wanted to go there myself to experience it but I definitely won’t be going back

Very happy it has been reopened. Service still as good as always. Thanks El Rio! Special thanks for reopening the old Franklin Restauranr north of Rocky Mount. Saves us a drive into Rocky Mount. The service there, just as in RockyMount is excellent.

Wife tried calling to order an ACP with no veggies and the waiter was impatient with her said “Whatever” and hung up. I’ve had rough experiences before with the one in Rocky Mount and we thought to give it one last shot, but this was the final nail in the coffin.

Ordered Scallops and they were the size of pencil eraser. Was charged for white cheese sauce and guacamole and didn’t receive either. Will not patronize establishment again.
