The owner Mercedes is lovely. Her husband makes exceptional food in the restaurant is very cute. I love the fajitas, tacos, bacon, wrapped shrimp, and all the shrimp dishes.

Wonderful small restaurant in the San Antonio neighborhood. Our dinner was very, very good. Great margaritas. My beef, chorizo and pineapple soft tacos were delicious, as was my wife’s shrimp and spinach quesadilla. Had flan for dessert. Mercedes, the owner, was very attentive. You can tell that she is proud of her restaurant, as she should be, as well as her Mexican heritage. The restaurant is decorated with numerous pieces of Mayan sculptures. We usually don’t eat at the same restaurant twice while traveling, but will be making an exception for el Rinconcito. One thing to note is that they only take cash, no credit cards.

One of my favourite restaurants in San Miguel. Margaritas are excellent (they are very potent). Eating here is a wonderful experience. I love their Fajita Quesadilla and their chicken mole.

Friendly, hospitable neighborhood restaurant. The food was impeccable both times we went. They have indoor seating in the back and outdoor seating up front. Very reasonably priced too. Located in Colonia San Antonio.

My second favorite thing is to invite a few friends over for lunch on the patio. Fortunately my partner is great at making food and entertaining guests. My first favorite thing is when friends reciprocate and invite us over for lunch on their patio.
Our lunch at el Rinconcito was just like my favorite thing. We felt incredibly welcome, each dish was prepared with pride and care from scratch, the patio was a great place to enjoy a couple of coronas and some world class Guac. So please don’t go soon as I’d hate to see folks crowding our favorite place to lunch with our new favorite friends.

Try this very special and delicious restaurant.. atmosphere and service are essentials, but the very special home cooked meals that are prepared with care and talent are exceptional.. we explored the grilled chicken and the quesadillas..the marguerites were made just right..here we are again for lunchtime and the food is very tasty and the atmosphere is just right to enjoy an extended conversation in this special restaurant with a top cuisine…everyone is so friendly !
