Service was ….weird. Very rushed, even though they weren’t busy. Not friendly. Walk away as you’re still talking. I got the shrimp enchiladas (my go-to at every Mexican restaurant) and it was awful! The sauce the shrimp was sauteed in was super sweet, like it had ketchup or sugar added. Not savory/spicy at ALL. When I told the server it tasted like sugar/ketchup she offered to remake it with “no sauce on the shrimp,” but when I asked what was in it making it sweet, she said “I don’t know. Maybe ketchup.” What?? I passed and drank my margarita (which was good).

Got the chicken taco salad with sour cream. Portion was generous enough. Chicken tasted like it was mostly flavored with salt, and the salad was coarsely chopped iceberg.

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid. Absolutely love the restaurant and it’s staff they will take care of you and make you feel welcome! Drinks are amazing and they have a lot of options to select from on their menu. You won’t regret going here and supporting an amazing restraunt!

We ended up here unexpectedly and were happy we did! I wouldn’t say they employees were particularly welcoming but their service was absolutely quick! We ordered chicken burritos and they were absolutely delicious!!! Every bit of it had so much flavor! Will come again if were in the area

Mexican to me is all about flavorful food with fresh ingredients. We visited a couple of weeks ago and were served bland food… That frankly was just not good. It really seemed like they were cutting corners and cost on spices and ingredients, yet expecting customers to pay as if their food was up to normal standards.

Been eating at this place for years usually pretty good but this past year they’ve gone quite downhill they’re fajitas are usually mainly onions with little meat when I dine in they’re usually happy to take care of things but when I order food to bring home after a long day of work and get a plate full of rice barely any meat mostly onions no extra tortillas that I paid for I left headed home which is about 20 minutes from the restaurant in confidence that my order was done correctly we’ll see if they fix this so far the answer is me driving back over there getting my tortillas and the food missing instead of them fixing the meal as they should so I can have the hot meal I had paid for this may be the last time I eat El Ranchon these are the type of things you would expect from Burger not here
