The food was ridiculously delicious! There was a huge depth of flavors. The charro beans came with chopped up meat and were super tasty! The cochinita torta was simple but mouth watering. The pickled onions in lime provided an extra tang of flavor. We got to try the rib-eye tacos and birria. They weren’t drenched in oil in that it masks the flavor of the meat. I definitely recommend coming!
Max the owner is such a chill and passionate guy. He knows his salsas, and he just LOVES to cook and create new recipes! It shows through the food. Get your food coma here. So delicious. I am yet to eat something in the valley that compares to this. The valley needed the rich flavors of Puebla and Yucatán with the valley touch. He offers complex flavors that will expand your palate!
