Went into the rincon location today & got the buffet. Took one bite into a cheese quesadilla and there was a whole roach in my quesadilla! When calling the waitress over we told her what was in our food, she took the quesadilla & we told her that we were going to leave. All she said was okay. She didn’t say she was sorry or anything. Will never go back to this place!

Great food. Fast service. The place looks sketchy from the outside but is a hidden gem. It was amazing! And super cheap. We were traveling through but will remember it if we are coming back this way.

When you walk in it’s hard to judge how to think the experience will be. Being in a strip mall with dark windows it’s an unassuming spot. The place is clean and well lit. We were promptly greeted and seated when we walked in. We had beverages within minutes and chips and salsa shortly after. The menu is loooooooong but there is an area that explains what the Spanish food items that was helpful for my husband. Everything we ordered was delicious, the ingredients were fresh and the food was seasoned well and was hot. The food came very quickly after we ordered. We would’ve liked hot sauce on the table but the salsa worked for an extra splash. The tomato lettuce sour cream guacamole that came with the food was fresh! The tomato was red and delicious, like it was from a garden… the guac had good flavor and was bright green too. You could tell the ingredients were high quality. The server was so kind and very attentive, he even offered to get us to go sodas at the end of our meal.

My Husband and I own a local Roofing Company. Patriot Pros Roofing. We support this local restaurant.The buffet is amazing and the service is stellar. Arrived sober. Left not so much. But before the large Cadillac Margarita I enjoyed a wonderful order of enchilada Verde that filled my soul with enjoyment (and sodium). But seriously; fast friendly service and great food at fair prices; who could ask for more. (And I say that rhetorically. Honestly. I couldn’t care less about the “more” you’re asking for.)

Easy access. Affordable. Quality flavors.
I saw today it was voted best in Rincon so me and my daughters came to check it out. Definitely worth it! House margaritas taste better than most places. Servers were great and attentive. Food was great! My 1 year old and my 17 year old both enjoyed their dinners for our girls night out. We’ve had Mexican all over the country and El Porto is definitely in our top 5.
If you’re a local, come and check it out.
If you’re a visitor definitely worth the 11 mile trip out of Savannah downtown to get some early dinner.
