I’ve been here a couple of times, but the last two times there has always been something. I first thought it was because they were busy that time, but today there were only 3 tables, and the only table ordering was me and my partner. I ordered some tacos de carnitas and a side of rice and pico de gallo. When I received the food, the tacos didn’t had the sauce; they were just too dry. The rice never came with the food, neither did the salsa. We thought she was coming back since she had her hands full with the plates, but never came to the table until we were done (there were a few waitress and just three tables occupied). The only reason I went to the restaurant was because of the rice. We were waiting for the ticket to pay, and they never gave it to us, so we had to go to the front and ask. We also asked about the sides that never came, and she just said, “Oh yeah, the sides didn’t came out.” When we were paying, there was a huge difference between the prices and what the menu said. We asked if they were charging for the sides, and she said “no,” but all we could see was that she passed the ticket exactly as it was, we couldn’t even saw the ticket because it wasn’t given to us. Anyway, we paid and left. We calculated few times with what the menu had, and the prices didn’t match without the sides that never came… Definitely not going back.

I asked if they had lengua tacos and to my surprise, they did. Most Mexican restaurants in South Georgia don’t have lengua. The chef even came out to meet the gringo(me) that had ordered lengua. He was very cool. He told me lengua is his favorite also. Great portions of food and excellent service. Finger licking good.

Delicious Food for a great price I usually go during buffet hours 11. Am. – 2:30. Pm. Monday – Thursday and 11. Am. – 10. Pm. Friday – Sunday. It is probably my favorite restaurant. The owner and his daughter recognize me every time I come in and are both very friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

The food was great. The store was mostly clean. The service was GREAT. The staff was attentive. The buffett was good. The keep the food coming out.
The loss of the star is for the bathroom being dirty and the food bar has no labels. We thought we were eating fujita chicken. But it was miked with Chorizo. Pork. We don’t eat pork. So a label would have helped.

Ok so… this place…. legendary. 10/10 will eat here forever. The cheese dip, downright spectacular. The taquitos. Perfection. The taco salad, superb the tamales and tacos were to die for. I just found my new favorite restaraunt.

12/9/20 update: again, on my way home… I did stop on my way down in early November as well.
Tamales are so good! Love them Naked (sauce on the side)… It was nice to see V again, she is the nicest & she remembers me ❤️ I feel like a local.
8/12/20 update: stopped in on my way North. Had the tamales, so good. Still clean and nice inside. Hostess V. Was wearing an official El Potro mask, I want one too upgraded to 5 stars for consistency over 4 visits.
A good spot just off i-95. Had the lunch buffet, it was good. I’ll stop again and try the traditional Mexican dishes. Friendly staff too.
