We have visited Bryce Canyon from Costa Rica and we also planned to come directly to this place! It was worth it, it’s amazing!
The place is very nice, it is really cozy.
Kevin’s service is the best, he really shows that he loves what he does and strives to give his best to customers!
The prices are very good.
And the food?? Well, it’s just amazing, everything tastes great and the portion sizes are perfect!
We did our best trying as many options as possible, and everything was great!
…but the Twisted Nachos are amazing!
You must try the baked beans!
If I had the opportunity, I would definitely come back.
Recommended if you are near the place.
They don’t have the 2 meat + 2 side plate, and with the 1 meat + 1 side (corn bread or Cole slaw) you had to pay extra to “upgrade” the side to Mac n cheese or baked beans. The lady preparing the food told me it would be x amount to upgrade the sides which was half as what she rung it up at the end. We ordered a plate with pulled pork and brisket, and paid $9 to add 1/4 brisket and ended up getting 3 pieces of brisket… and one piece of CHICKEN. we didn’t order any chicken at all, so we basically paid all the extra for barely any brisket and a piece of chicken we didn’t want.
The food was okay, but not worth that price or the experience we had. Would NOT recommend.
I think some of the other reviews about speed are accurate but you have to take into account where you are. This is not a big town or a place that is consistently busy so I totally understand if it’s hard to manage the traffic if it gets busy
I.D.K. BBQ was a great value and incredibly tasty. We had the Mac n Cheese, a Chicken Sandwich (called the Emily), a Pulled Pork meat plate and some Pulled Pork Nachos. Everything was well made, generous, and we loved trying all three of the BBQ sauces available. The only thing that was better than the BBQ for lunch was the left over BBQ in my hotel room later that night. 🙂
I don’t write many reviews, but if you are in the Bryce Canyon area, you have to check this place out. You won’t regret it.
Here’s what we got:
– 1 Meat + 1 Side – Brisket + Cornbread ($9.99 + $1.99 for brisket): The brisket was pretty average. The cornbread was good.
– 2 Meats + 2 Sides – Pulled Pork, Sweet Chicken + Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese ($15.49): My husband said the pulled pork was fine, the sweet chicken was good, the baked beans were tasty, and the mac & cheese was amazing.
– Peach Cobbler ($5.99): Simply not worth it for taste and also not worth it for price.
A far cry from the best BBQ I’ve had.
The restaurant only has four tables and two were occupied (so half full; a good sign). Customers order their meals at the counter, collect their drinks from the pop machines and then seat themselves.
There was only one employee but she was efficient and sweet. While she put our meals together she asked questions like where we were from.
The menu choices were quite limited but when you find what works why mess things up with too many choices. We had the fully dressed pulled pork baked potato and the salad (there’s only one) plus a side order of corn bread. Everything was quite good, not awesome but still a solid meal.
Check it out. It’s worth it
p.s. IDK does stand for I don’t know….as in, I don’t know where to eat. Cute.
