The service was amazing, the food tasted better than our favorite mexican place where we are regulars. The cherry on top, the daily sign was an encouraging message that Jesus loves you. You don’t see that very often. There was a wonderful family, christian vibe. The staff was welcoming and we enjoyed our experience greatly.

Update– still the best charro beans. The Brazoria tacos are my absolute favorite. Tried the Tres Leches cheesecake and it’s delicious the staff is kind and friendly. We were a big group with small children… I, personally, know how challenging that can be. Will be returning. And highly recommend.

While in the area for business I discovered this little gem. Walking in I first recognized how clean the place is. I was then greeted by a smiling young lady that treated me with such sweet kindness. After sitting I started looking over the menu and recognized the background music to be Christian music. This was a super nice treat. I ordered tacos and enjoyed great chips and salsa while waiting. The tacos arrived and the experience continued to be excellent…wonderful food. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back.

My mother-in-law ordered food for us. There are only 4 ppl in the family but was charged for 2 extra meals due to the lady not hearing my mother-in-law correctly. My husband ordered the Texas steak and it looked horrible and not very much at all in the to-go box, the rice was not fresh, they put lettuce and tomato on tacos that were not supposed to have that. You can definitely tell the difference between when you eat in the restaurant and when you order to go.

We moved to the area 4 years ago and soon after, we tried El Potrillo. Love this place! The food is always great. Large portions, not expensive! The service is outstanding, too! Also love that we can enjoy a meal while listening to P&W music!

I called ahead to make an order to pick up. We went over the order three times. I got there and stood there at the register for a while. Workers were around however, no one acknowledged me. Finally, I get the food asked the girl if she checked to make sure it was all there (I seen her tell the kitchen she needed beans for the order so I figured it was). I got home and something was missing. I called back got put on hold for the person who took the order only for her to tell me she didn’t charge me for it because she didn’t hear me order it…. she repeated it to me correctly over the phone and it wasn’t on there. I started no ma’am I asked you if there were two of those items and you started yeah. Again, she apparently didn’t hear me. Didn’t offer to make it or anything. I won’t be going back. The flavor of the food that we did get was good though.
