The food was so good and I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo before I started. The family combo was perfect for two. The churro’s texture was great and it was exactly what I needed to conclude my lunch. I also need to thank the person who helped me with order. This particular Pollo loco has not so friendly employees. I get there at 9:48pm tonight and their hours are until 10:00pm. I’m the third car to be helped when the girl told me that they only have pollo bowls and not tacos or anything else available. Good thing the bowl is what I wanted. And on top of that… When I placed my order at 9:53 I she proceeds to tell me that I got there late. I told her that it was the long times they took to take the orders of the customers. I told her that I’m not there to argue but that it’s not my fault if they keep their customers waiting too long to place an order. Than…. When I get to the window I’m told there is only certain drinks available for my bowl combo.

Extremely poor. The 4 piece chicken was only 3 piece. I was in drive thru 7 pm, but the chicken was probably from lunch or morning. so dry it was not edible. the chicken in tostada was so dry, my wife picking them out so she could eat the lettuce and beans.

Went to the La Quinta location today Saturday afternoon, no one in line. We waited for 5 minutes, yes we timed it, no one even acknowledged we were waiting to order. Several employees say us but not a one took the time to say” we’ll be wirh you in a minute”. We walked out and crossed the lot.. I often have lunch at this El Pollo Loca during the week and the staff is very personable and very attentive, I never have to wait. Your weekend staff sucks and could learn a little customer service from your weekday employees!

Terrible. I barely ate anything. The rice was crusty from sitting out. The corn was soggy and the chicken was burnt and just terrible. I usually love El Pollo Loco. There was chicken on the grill that looked like it’d been sitting out for hours on end. I should’ve known better.

I used to love El Pollo Loco but the quality has really gone down. The chicken is overcooked and very small pieces. In addition, recently I’ve been there twice when they ran out of chicken at 6:30 pm prime time for dinner. A chicken restaurant that runs out of chicken early in the evening.

Came into El Pollo Loco and they refused to sell the family meals because they were out of everything but chicken breasts and wings. Ordered two piece meals to go and the breasts was burnt and dry and the chicken wing was cooked so long there was no meat left, it tasted like dry burnt flesh.
