We were the first customers on a Monday so took a few minutes to get their attention.
Once we ordered, food came out pretty quickly.
Portions are decent sized -I was not able to finish mine and took the rest home. My husband finished most of his meal.
We each got a veggie sambusa and a veggie combo platter. Food was good although they were out of potatoes which was disappointing.
The veggie combo includes portions of 3 lentil dishes, cabbage with carrots, beets, and collard greens served on and with injera bread.
We shared Ethiopian coffee for dessert.

This is now my favorite Ethiopian spot in the twin cities. I’ve dined in and ordered takeout here. Every time I am so satisfied and leave feeling happy .The shiro is my favorite dish. I love the combo platters too. Get the coffee ceremony- you won’t be disappointed- Ethiopian coffee is the best you will ever have! Service is lovely- had a nice chat with the staff that prepared and served our meal. 10/10 recommend!

Sodere is a fantastic Ethiopian food restaurant! I ordered the fish and rice plates and the Kitfo platter. Kitfo was absolutely delicious and cooked a perfect medium rare! The fried fish was crispy and it paired well with the cooked vegetables and rice. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the food.
