Great quiet spot and we were seated extremely quickly for a weekend. A lot of us thought our portions were kind of small for what we paid, food was nothing exceptional. Nonetheless they were able to see our large group and service was prompt.

The food is good, but $20 for a drink and 3 tacos seems a bit high for me. Most restaurants offer unlimited refills on soda. El Poblanos now offers one refill per person and one refill on chips. From what I gathered, we were not offered a refill on our drinks or chips, maybe by design. If they don’t ask, you won’t want to get it refilled. The food was good, but for the money, it might be worth driving a bit further into Springfield for more options.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The Mojarra was cooked to perfection – crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The presentation was beautiful and truly elevated the dish.
I also appreciated that the spiciness was perfectly balanced – enough to add flavor without overwhelming the taste.
On top of that, the service was excellent, attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even better.

The first to go order I had had hair in it, I got transferred 3 times, they said 10 minutes then I got there and they refused to give me the remade order, the lady was very rude then accused me of trying to scam them and then said it’s MY job to inspect the food for hair, then I inspected the remade order and noticed it was missing steak and then she told me it was my fault for not telling her my order even though I definitely did and she repeated it back. The whole experience was terrible and I hope no one else goes there because I was so disrespected and inconvenienced and they wasted an hour of my trip. Bummer

I ate here the other day as I was on a business luncheon. The food was very very good. The restaurant was clean. The staff and service excellent. Overall it’s a great place to eat and if I was back in the area I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Everything was awesome here. You’re greeted when arriving, with super friendliness. Your asked several times during dinner if everything is okay
And on our way out we are greeted with friendliness on the way. I would say this is probably the best customer service I’ve had all year. The food was totally awesome also. I only have one complaint. Nobody had mask on including the workers. But other than that I would totally recommend going back again I’ve been going for years. One of my favorite restaurants.
