The two servers I met today were absolutely amazing. Attentive, accurate and very skilled mixologists the room is surprisingly “Bar” set up with a stage, pool, cornhole, plenty of booths and a huge covered outdoor area. The food is far from the best. Honestly it was a good amount of food ordering the Palomino Burrito but it also TASTED like it could have been horse meat that was used for the steak. Bland, oversauced and poorly rolled. The salad bar was nice and I’m very thankful that the boss cleared the $7.99 for my one salad that I had misunderstood came with the meal but actually just came with the combos listed on the sign that says “free small salad with every purchase.” It would’ve been a better experience hanging out with the waitresses and not eating any of the food. Plus, oddly enough, there was absolutely ZERO music in a restaurant space that radiates “Party Scene.”

The only time we saw our waitress was when she took our order. After that we never saw her again. Our five drinks went empty, had to go to the front to get our own Togo boxes. We even asked where our was and the other staff didn’t know either. Did not feel like a $70+ meal, or that we were appreciated. We will more than likely not return. This was not the first time we were treated this way.

If you like your hot food served cold and waiting forever for your ticket to pay. Plus get charged extra for using your debit card. Then this is the place for you! No, dont think I’ll go back there again. Feels more like a sports bar that a family restaurant. Not worth the money.

So, we’ve been there twice in the past month. Both experiences have been mixed.
The food is generally good. The menu is half the typical Tex-Mex food you find in most Mexican joints in the area, and half steakhouse. We’ve tried the fajitas and they’ve been good. The salsa is another story. It tastes like someone opened a can of marinara and added some cilantro. It is just barely better than tolerable. We’ve gotten three steaks. All three have been seasoned well. Two were cooked to order, one was slightly overcooked but still good. Both the baked potato and fries were generic but cooked well. There is a salad bar that is actually very good. They stock it well and there is a large variety of ingredients to choose from. One final food note… they have a Mexican street corn that is great, but it is not on the menu as a regular item. There is no guarantee they will have it, so you’ll have to ask your server for availability.
The service is real inconsistent. The first time we went, the server was attentative but the food came out very slowly. The second time, the food came out quickly but our server was awful. He didn’t know the menu and couldn’t explain the difference between the specials and the regular menu. The order came out missing some items. However, because he didn’t come back to check on us, we had to flag down another server to help us. After he brought the missing side, he never came back to the table again. For a while he was in the back and never came out. Then suddenly he appeared and went to sit at a table with a man; he stayed there talking for a half-hour until we checked out. Not once did he check on us and come to check us out. The nice server who had helped us previously came to the register and retrieved our bill. Then she went and got us two drinks to go since we never got a drink refill. She was pleasant, helpful, attentive to her tables, and of course she helped us, too.

We absolutely enjoyed it here!! Food was Delish and service was very good! Very nice staff and made us feel welcome. Only thing I will say is that a baby changing table it needed at this establishment. We stopped here to change my daughter’s diaper and feed her, and I had to change her on the floor. Thank goodness I had a changing pad in bag. Otherwise I highly recommend this place!!

A good mexican resteraunt speaks for itself, multi-lingual staff can cater to a variety of clientele, woth a vibrant and rich atmosphere that is both family friendly and authentic. The owners are fantastic and always involved in the service, excellent staff, food, and service. All around a 5 star experience for the area and we’ll worth checking out, especially since its a bit more off the beaten path than the other places in town it tends to be less busy.

We just finished a wonderful meal at El Palomino! This is a delicious, affordable, and convenient meal just off the road if you’re heading North/south on 46. This service was friendly and Attentive, and there’s a huge variety of food on the menu. Highly recommended!
