The staff was busy so it took a bit of time to get on the wait list. They took my name and number and called when our table was ready. Bar seating was small and was already reserved. Maybe 30 seats in the entire restaurant. Recommend making a reservation. The space is cozy so I wouldn’t go with more than 4 people. Nothing fancy, nothing exciting.
The staff were all nice and pleasant. Checked on us a few times but nothing overbearing.
The food overall was good, better than average but the prices are a little higher than average as well. Yuzu hi-ball was refreshingly bright. The salad and miso that came with the meals were simple and clean. The rice for the chirashi and sashimi omakase was excellent. Shishito peppers and mixed tempura were good as well. Only complaint on the food would be that the fish is cut thick – good value I suppose, but would prefer thinner cuts, especially on the tuna. The prices were on the high side (maybe because of the thick cuts), but everything these days seems expensive.
Overall, it was a nice dinner. Not sure I would go out of my way to make reservations for a special occasion but might drop in and grab a seat at the bar if available.
Everything was good, but especially recommend the chef’s special roll.
Service was very warm, friendly and accommodating of our young kids.
Highly recommend all the dishes named after the restaurant! Kizuna roll, the kizuna ice dessert and the omakase were spectacular! We can’t wait to come back for fresh oysters and more!
Try the yuzu beer. It’s their own add on of yuzu on some classic Orion draft. It’s fantastic.
Service is very nice and finished dishes were removed very quickly.
I ate sashimi lunch, which was $22, excluding tax. Miso soup which was served first immediately moved
me. The rice was excellent, which is equivalent to top quality one that I ate in Japan. There were about 12 pieces of sashimi, which were superb.
The clerks were very generous and friendly.
Overall, it’s 100 out of 5 lol
$22, which is 3300 yen, seemed expensive to me first. It’s not actually. I could accept it even if this were at the same price in Japan! Considering how expensive everything is around here, it’s such a great deal.
