We were super excited to try Elody’s and it really was a let down. Our server Erika was amazing though; she was friendly and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and there is a lot of seating. I got a caprese martini and it was unique and refreshing. The issues were with almost all our food. We received the complimentary rolls and butter and the rolls were hard, like stale hard. We split the calamari and the meatballs next. They came out quick, the calamari was good but the meatballs lacked flavor. The meat and the sauce both just had no real flavor. We chose to split the cod Francese and it was raw. We told our server, she brought it to the kitchen, and then returned and said that kitchen said “sometimes the fish can be opaque…..” I do eat a lot of fish, I’m not going to argue, it was raw and the breading was just not sticking to the raw fish. We’ll chalk it up as a loss… Really unfortunate. We were asked if we wanted a complimentary piece of cheesecake, but declined.

Elody’s (formerly 13 North) — okay we finally checked out their new location and WOW. It’s absolutely beautiful inside (those pink chairs had me immediately!!!) The whole space feels fresh, elevated, but still super welcoming. Love this move!
And the Foooodddd…..!!!! Just as good, if not better than before. Truly a 10/10 night. The butter board was a total hit, the calamari was perfect, and my husband loved his steak (which is saying a lot). Everything came out so well done. Our server Erica was so sweet, attentive, & all around lovely! Made our New Years Eve experience great:)
We’ve always loved this family-owned spot, and seeing them in this gorgeous new space makes it even better. Such a great addition to downtown Saratoga. We’ll definitely be back—highly recommend. OHHH & PATTI CHEESECAKE ARE THE BOMB! Best cheesecake in the 518 HANDS DOWN!!!

6:15p reservation & food didn’t get to the table until 8:30p, with a complete lack of acknowledgment from staff that it was taking FOREVER was mind blowing. The food was good / no complaints once it arrived, just plan your night accordingly!

So disappointed in this experience, my sisters were visiting from New Jersey and I heard great things about Elody.. The chicken was rubbery. The atmosphere is not cozy if that’s what you’re looking for. Unfortunately my sister was ill in the middle of the night and she thinks it was some part of dinner that did not agree with her stomach. Hopefully, after the restaurant has been open for a while, things will get better.

Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were huge! I loved my carrot cake. I forgot to take a pic so will grab one next time I’m in because we will definitely be back! One of the best meals I’ve had in Saratoga in a long while! Cheers!

Walked in on NYE before their grand opening and was blown away. Great atmosphere, service and most importantly food was unbelievably amazing. From the bread rolls, to the appetizer, entree and dessert – everything was 10/10! Wishing this business many years of inevitable success!
