El Molcajete is officially on my list for margaritas and Taco Tuesday!
First of all I just want to say this they have the BEST house chips I have ever had in my entire lifeeee! I had to get two baskets lol
We started with the Lychee Guava and Cherry Coconut margaritas (Valentines Day Special) and they were so smooth and dangerously good. Definitely the kind of drinks you sip slow but somehow finish fast.
The beef empanadas were one of my favorites! They came out hot and crispy, and the chipotle shrimp pasta had a nice smoky kick with a creamy cheesy sauce. I also tried the birria ramen — I love that it comes paired with birria tacos on the side, which makes it a fun combo if you’ want the best of both worlds. And the chicken taco salad was fresh and nicely seasoned
For dessert, the churros and a cup of Choco Abuelita ( a delicious s’mores hot chocolate) were the perfect sweet ending.
They also have happy hour from 3–7 PM and $19.99 all-you-can-eat Taco Tuesday, which honestly is hard to beat!
Great vibes, good drinks, IG photo ops, and plenty of delicious options on the menu. Service was warm, fast, and friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
The service is a little bit slow, they take good 30 – 35 minutes to prepare your order. The ingredients are ok. Not a fine dine quality though.
We paid $53 (excluding tip) for two main courses and a guacamole for appetiser. Value for money is average. The could make it great if they invest in their service training – perhaps.
