Let me start off by saying the waiter we had was so very nice and did a really good job. This is the only nice thing i can say. The food was really bad. Refried beans out of a can, clumpy rice with little flavor. $36 for a molcajete that was so small in comparison to others I’ve had. I do not recommend this place at all. It really was that bad

I wouldn’t give this place any stars, if possible. Be ware… do not come here. I hardly write reviews, but this experience called for one to warn others about this place. First, let me start by saying that customer service isn’t even on their priority list. So many things went wrong during our dinner experience. To start off, they were super, and I mean SUPER under staffed. I know businesses can’t help that part at times, but that’s what ultimately led to our bad experience. Our drinks took forever to get to our table. Then it took a while for our order to be taken, after 45 minutes of being there. It literally took 2 HOURS of sitting before our food was served. Then, when our food arrived, the wrong food was brought out for 2 people who were sharing. They sent the food back and simply smacked it on the correct serving dish (a molcajete) and part of the food was cold. The avocados were missing for that food plate. Then it took another 20-30 minutes for the rest of the food to arrive. All of our food came between a span of 30 minutes. My father ordered fajitas and he never got his rice and beans. Now, by time we were ready to just leave. The waitress asked if we had everything and my response was yes, because we didn’t want to wait any longer for any food. When I went to pay, the owner asked how our experience was. I wasn’t going to say anything, but since she asked, I let her know that the experience wasn’t good. She asked why and I explained to her what had all went wrong. She then got defensive and so did the waitress. The waitress said “well I asked them if they had everything, look at the security cameras, you’ll see” and ultimately blamed it on me, the customer. I have NEVER as the customer been blamed for bad customer service. I’m just baffled. They also didn’t try to do anything to make the experience any better and only took off $5 for the rice and beans they forgot for my father’s food. I wasn’t looking for free food or anything… but to have the bad experience of long waits for food and drinks, then forgetting items, and THEN blaming the customer… it’s an absolutely no for me. Never again will we be going back and I highly recommend to save yourself the hassle from coming here to eat.

I really hate leaving bad reviews but this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. We had a large party and the food took over an hour to be served, when it did, orders were wrong and 1/2 of the orders came even later, some didn’t come at all. The chips were stale, the water tasted funny. Our entire group became violently sick upon leaving. And most of us only had water and chips and still became sick, and the food didn’t look or smell fresh. The people in our group that actually ate the food became horribly sick for many days with vomiting and diarrhea. I’m not sure how this could have gone so wrong. Please be cautious eating here, we had 5 kids in the group and 1 ended up with a trip to the hospital.

I’ve been stopping by weekly since they opened after 6 months of waiting, watching the sign to change from, “opening soon” to “We are Open” as I pass this place almost daily. It was worth the wait!!! Service is always GREAT! Very friendly and accommodating. The food, very authentic and delicious. Perfect portions for the perfect price! The Salsa’s always fresh and unique which I love my Salsas.
