We had the best meal with our family. Everything was delicious. Fish street tacos, steak burrito, etc. We all loved our food and even shared chocolate churros for dessert. Highly recommend!!

Family owned small business serves authentic Mexican food. No margarita no tall mexican hat here. Just good food and family vibe. Food takes longer than other restaurants but always comes out good. Check this place out if you are in the area.

Me and Mama stopped here for the first time tonight we were actually going to go across the street to pepperoncinis but we saw this place and decided to try. They have pompano fish which is mama’s favorite fish. I had the swordfish which was amazing the guacamole chips and salsa aee really delicious the atmosphere is nice. The place has been there for 3 years apparently but it looks brand new inside. They keep it very clean and tidy and everything is awesome we will definitely be back soon!

With some friends, we are on a quest to find good Mexican food in the Southwest Pittsburgh area. Most places are just so- so, so imagine how pleased we were to find this place! What you get here is not from the corporate distributor who seem to be the suppliers of almost all the other “Mexican” restaurants around. For one, look at their logo – the Marlin indicates that they come from the region around Acapulco and they feature many fish and seafood dishes from that region. Of course, they do Americanize their dishes, but they managed to maintain the flavors that we’ve been looking for.
For this visit, we decided to try the fajitas, Alembra, and Enchiladas in Mole sauce. All were full of flavor and nicely presented. See the pictures for an idea of how these dishes come.
The staff are the owners. While the parents cook, the son is the waiter. Since it was early and the place was not busy, we had the chance to chart about Mexico, the restaurant, and the food. Service was excellent – and not just because of our discussions. When other patrons showed up, we saw them get the same great service.
The place has been open for a little more than a year now. We will certainly come again to try some more of their specialties.

Mexican joint, seems like a family owned restaurant. We ordered chicken quesadillas, chicken enchiladas, chicken fajitas, and shrimp diapollo with rice and beans. The food, flavors is pretty average.

Absolutely phenomenal. Although the dining area is small and quaint,the service was great.
But the food…. WOW. Definitely if not the best tacos in Pittsburgh. They are up there.
Also try something else than tacos. We tried a freshly made Sopes. Just was super impressed and since there was a wait to make the Sopes the kitchen gave us some Queso. Just great fresh food and friendly staff

If you’re craving authentic Mexican cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Unlike many spots that lean into the usual Tex-Mex offerings, this restaurant stays true to traditional flavors and ingredients. Can’t wait to return for another round of authentic deliciousness!

Finally got a chance to try this place out and was not disappointed at all. My wife and I both agreed that, as people who seek out new food experiences, this was one of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever eaten at.
The food was fresh and cooked properly, and the flavors were amazing! The mole enchiladas are amazing as were the house made corn masa sopes with steak or chicken!
There aren’t many tables; so, I suspect they do most of their business is takeout, but I would recommend going in person and getting it fresh.
We will be back as soon as possible.

Super authentic, homemade food with fresh and high quality ingredients. We had the shrimp fajitas which were delicious and came with a good portion of shrimp, as well as the quesobirria tacos which came with an amazing, flavorful side dipping sauce. Would not have expected to find somewhere with such authentic Mexican cuisine in this area! We have traveled to 10+ countries in Central and South America, so we have a strong sense of what is authentic and high quality.
The space is bright and airy, spotlessly clean and with cute interior decor – lights, music, and wall mural.
We also met the owner who has so much passion for this family-owned and run business. We will definitely be back!

We located the place late at night, its a cute, clean eatery with food I have never tasted such good clean tasting food.. we started with some nachos, it took us exactly three minutes to devour the whole plate it was so delicious.. and then the actual main course arrived it was really delicious, the enchiladas, quesadillas and the fried fish.. each prepared with much care and the taste was very homey and you could tell, some one cooked with great care and love! Must visit again when we go to the Robinson Township area Costco.. May you live long and prosper! ❤️
