We had delicious drinks and appetizers for my sister’s birthday, and we had such a great time. The cocktails were amazing, and everything we ordered was so good, especially the tuna pizza (incredible), and the yellowtail, which was super fresh.
Our bartender, Abby, was the sweetest, so attentive and genuinely friendly. She even brought us a complimentary coconut dessert for my sister’s birthday, which was delicious. The décor is fun and the ambiance is perfect for celebrating.

This place is a must for cocktails incredible drinks, amazing hospitality, and such a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere. Hands down one of the most happening spots in Sarasota right now.

Bar Hana is a favorite spot to bring clients and friends visiting Sarasota. The ambiance is a fun tropical tiki bar vibe and the drinks are the best in the city. The Mainland Margarita has a cult like following and for good reason, it’s the best cocktail in SRQ!
The manager Dustin is exceptional and truly wants to deliver an excellent experience, going above and beyond! The bartenders are always friendly and attentive as well. Can’t recommend highly enough and make sure to try the Mainland Marg!!

Honestly this was a joke of an experience. My husband and I came in before the downtown holiday parade to have a quick drink. Saw the hostess, there were no bar seats available, said we could sit at a table. She didnt walk us to the table, so we wandered into the bar room to find only one empty table. That had 4 dirty glasses sitting on a wobbly table. We sat down ordered 2 vodka sodas… waited about 10 minutes. No drinks. A manager came and asked how we were doing and we let her know we had been waiting awhile for our drinks. She went behind the bar anf made them, brought them out and said she was taking care of the table. Really nice. We decided to have a second round. No one came to take our order. My husband went to the bar and ordered them. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying. The manager then brought the drinks over to us and our check. 27$ for 2 titos.. WOW I know prices are higher downtown, but with the lack luster service.. that stung. A different girl brought us the check to sign, informed us the computer ran our card twice. At this point, the experience is comical. She told us the refund would come through in 2 – 3 business days.. and to keep our recipet incase is doesnt. What a disorganized bar and unfortunate experience. Oh and the cherry on top was that it seemed the air conditioner wasn’t working so a portable ac unit was placed less than a foot from our table. I understand that isnt anyone’s fault. But a bar charging HIGH dollar prices for drinks should have better standards than they are offering up tonight.

Terrible experience. The food itself was great, but the service was honestly atrocious. We ordered several dishes, including a sushi roll. All the food came out fairly quickly except the roll.
Twenty-five minutes later, everyone at the table had already finished eating because their food was getting cold… and still no sushi in sight. When I finally asked about it, all they said was that sushi orders were backed up. If that’s the case, why bring out every other plate and leave one person with nothing—especially for that long?
No apology, no explanation, nothing. Really disappointed with this place.

We stopped in after dinner because this bar was steps away from our hotel. Dillon was such an amazing bartender and was really friendly. We didn’t try the food because we were full. The bar has a cool Polynesian vibe. I wish the music was a bit more lively to match the atmosphere. We would definitely be back because of the excellent service from Dillon.

This is a must stop if you are a mixology fan but at the same time EAT HERE! I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. Atmosphere is perfectly matched to the “theme” they are going for. Bartenders knew their stuff and were extremely friendly. The Shrimp toast was a personal favorite for me as it was not what I was expecting at all and that is what I want from a restaurant. All of their cocktails we tried were spectacular! This is now on our permanent stop list! Keep up the good work and if you haven’t been here I would highly suggest stopping in, even if just for a cocktail.
