I picked this restaurant because it looked so good and was literally on our way home. Firstly I watch on occasion eating videos on YouTube . Before I walked in I had no idea they had a challenge or that a personal favorite from YouTube had once been there. Just a fun coincidence. The man in charge talked to my dad about their quesobirria taco he was just so helpful. My father stuffed all that food somehow inside his small frame . He was in a word “Satisfied “. I had their steak fajitas, which were delicious. The meat was so tender. The peppers tasted so good. Lots of delicious seasoning. The tortillas were perfect and came in the best little sombrero tortilla warmer. I just loved it. Before I forget the chips and salsa that come before your meal I have no idea why but my father and I both thought that the salsa just tasted fantastic. Again, the man in charge, friendly, helpful, informative our waitress, super fun, absolutely attentive. I just can’t say enough good things.

Baby Hay Caramba was cold but really tasty. They didn’t have Arroz Con Pollo but they did have something similar and it was delicious. The burrito was not very hot when it came out. Some spots were fairly warm and others not so much. If the service wasn’t so good and the room temperature burrito didn’t taste so damn good it would’ve gotten less of a rating. That being said if the food was hot and was prepared as ordered it would’ve gotten a better review. I will give it another try not so close to closing and see if it’s any better.

Absolutely loved this place. The wife and I came here for me to take on their massive 7lb Hay Caramba food challenge (which I just barely beat with a few seconds to spare!). The wait staff was awesome, food was amazing, vibe was cool. Their green sauce they smother on some of the burritos is sooo good. Would love to come back for a “normal” meal.

The food is amazing. Everything had great flavor. Not expecting this. So very happy about this. The margarita tasted amazing but I didn’t taste any alcohol in it. My only sad point. I am impressed and will be coming back!

The food was so bland. The chips were gross and the queso had no flavor. I got the chicken fajitas. I think the chicken tasted and looked like frozen Tyson chicken strips with no seasoning. Somehow the peppers didn’t even have flavor to them. The rice and beans were horrendous. I’m not kidding when I say it was painful to swallow this dry food. I was pouring queso on my fajitas to help with the dryness and that didn’t even help. Will not be returning and will not recommend that anyone goes here unless they have sensitive tummies and taste buds and don’t like flavor. Worst Mexican food I have ever had.

I’m from Detroit which has a large Mexican population, so I wasn’t expecting to be impressed with a small town restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food is tasty and the service is always good. Still not what I’m used to back home but definitely extremely solid for a small town Mexican restaurant, and it is authentic.

Food was quite bland. Salsa was the only thing I had that had flavor. My steak and chicken fajitas were bland. The meat seemed like it sat in a warming tray waiting all afternoon to be served. The rice did have flavor-butter. It tasted like butter. The guacamole tasted like avocado and nothing else. The refried beans were beans-no seasoning. It is crazy that they have a specialty grocery store with a ton of spices right next door yet their food is bland. If you have a tender tummy and can’t have spice, this is the place for you.

Seated and drink order was taken relatively quickly. Food order was taken, and between 10-15 minutes went by before the waitress came back to tell my daughter they were out of the wings she ordered. She ordered a taco salad instead and that came with hardly anything in it. Son’s burger come out incorrect. Chimichungas didnt have any flavor. The rice tasted and looked like the Knorr rice packets you buy at Walmart. Nothing authentic about this place anymore. Quality completely disappeared from when they were up the hill by Verizon.
