Very clean and appealing interior, service was super quick. Food was good. Only con is that they DO NOT have a kids menu and everything on the menu is around 16$ and up, and pretty big portions for a kid, especially my 3 year old. Other than that it was a nice experience, would come again!

Definitely the best Sushi and Asian Cuisine in the Bluffton / Okatie area and some of the best overall food I’ve had here as well. Will def back regularly. Got the orange chicken and the spicy tuna roll, both were amazing! Service was great too.

We ordered the tonkatsu ramen, the pork belly bao bun , miso soup , spicy tuna roll and chicken teriyaki box .
As an individual whose jobs brings me all over the world, I frequent sushi / ramen house establishments as my go to meal spots.
Each meals felt like there was more emphasis put on the presentation than the actual taste/flavor.
The tokkatsu was flavorless , the bao buns (not pictured) had a mountain of cabbage on it and the spicy mayo overpowered the pork belly.
The spicy tuna deluxe roll didn’t even look like a tuna roll. It was by far the least enjoyable of it all. Again too much spicy mayo .
The chicken teriyaki box: the chicken looked more like it was boiled and then seared in a pan for 30 secs . Then just took teriyaki sauce out of bottle and smothered it on the chicken .
Bill was in the 80+ / added the 20% to make it just under a 100 dollars .
Thank you to the staff for being very welcoming. The venue is great . But the food will be the reason we will not be returning.

Sakura is our new favorite restaurant. The gyoza may be the best we have ever had. One of our favorite dishes is the Saigon Noodles. The curry is perfectly light for a wonderful flavor that is even better the next day. Sushi is excellent too. We appreciate being so close to such good food. Love the staff too. Zach and Lexie are two of our favorites.

What a great new addition to May River! We had the Gyoza, Kimchi Ramen, and Orange Chicken- everything was delicious and pretty quick! The gyoza was perfectly crunchy on the bottom and the Kimchi Ramen was just the right amount of spicy. The Orange Chicken was also really yummy, wasn’t too oily! Our server was awesome, she made great recommendations and was super attentive- our waters never went below half full. Will definitely come back!

Had a dinner here on opening night. We ordered chicken teriyaki box, 2 sushi rolls, bowl of ramen and fried rice. The food was very good! Sushi was definitely best we have had from any local spots. Already have been back 2 times! The only negative we have is the restaurant is not very big so it could fill quickly during prime time. Also I hope they make a kids menu as there currently is not a smaller portion, lesser price items that are kid friendly.

This place was a little gem we found. My boyfriend and I were craving something warm because of the low temperatures we’ve been having lately in Bluffton. We found the place without many expectations, and I want to highlight that we ordered takeout and the ramen was still exquisite. Nothing bad to say at all, we will definitely be coming back. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly.

Food was good, the Singapore noodles didn’t disappoint, neither did the Takoyaki. My only complaint is the server we had, seemed annoyed at anything we would ask, seemed to avoid getting anything extra you asked for like soy sauce or stuff like that. Maybe it was just a bad day but I’ve seen some other reviews regarding the same thing so maybe not.
