Great food! They catered our company’s cinco de mayo party last minute and did an amazing job. Everyone loved the food! Nice people working here.

Went in for 3 orders of tacos on a Friday night! We called our order in about 15 minutes ahead.

Ordered off the Mexican Tacos menu (onions and cilantro) and got lettuce and tomato instead. Wife ordered something with chicken, which was like rubber. Rice and beans were good, as was the quesadilla. We got take out and were missing some items. Staff was super nice and it is really cool in there. I look forward to shopping at the store in the front but prob will not eat there again.

Such a fun and cute place! It’s a grocery store in the front and then BOOM a little piece of beautiful Mexico in the back with great authentic food at reasonable prices. The food was on point! The people were friendly and the options were many! I saw they have a small stage area and saw signs about Karaoke- but I didn’t experience that so I’m not totally sure. Give this place a try- support local restaurants. These people really care about the food and quality they provide and give you flavorful plates you won’t find in chain restaurants. Try the tortas!

Had dinner here tonight and the carnitas tacos were simply amazing. Possibly the best tacos I have ever had. Friendly and quick service. Can’t wait to go back.

Reading the reviews before going there I thought I was in for a surprise. I order a steak dinner wich was supposed to be hot on a hot sizzling skillet well it didn’t came out that way instead it came out in soaking butter and onions plus it was over salted. I ask for diet coke wich they didn’t have so instead I asked for ice water . The ice water tasted gross. I’ll never return to this place.

The food is authentic and delicious. I ordered chicken tamales and they are large and yummy. The green tomatillo sauce has a great flavor and is spicy but not too hot. We also got the lamb barbacoa, and it was the best I have ever had. The lamb was tender, juicy and had a lovely flavor.. We’ve lived in San Antonio for 25 years and El Manantial would give some of our favorite places there a run for their money.

What a complete and utter disappointment. We really enjoy trying local establishments and supporting small businesses.
