My husband and I both had burritos, and they were excellent! Mine pictured is the burrito fajita. The chips are great and not too salty, and they give you both salsa and bean dip! Good service. Not a huge building, but we went on a Sunday evening and we’re seated right away.

The idea of going out for Mexican food in small town Wisconsin is always a toss up. It can be good but often it isn’t. I was hesitant to let my expectations be too high. After all I was walking into an old Dairy Queen painted orange and remodeled into a Mexican Grill restaurant. The inside reassured me somewhat. The place was clean and tastefully remodeled into a comfortable sit down / dine-in Mexican restaurant. I stopped to wash my hands on the way in and was very pleased to see nice clean restrooms. This says a lot about the character of an eatery. I was impressed so far. I was brought an ice water and some complimentary chips with my menu. It was about to get even better. Some Mexican places have ground beef. Other places have shredded beef. This place offered a choice… ground beef, shredded beef, chicken, or pork. Very nice. The waitstaff was professional and friendly. Service was relatively quick. I had the Burrito Classico. I would have hoped it be slightly larger for the (approx) $12.00 price tag. It was tasty, and average size ( not small). I guess I was hungry and would have like a Burrito Grande option. I have been living in the southwest part of this country for 25 + years and I found the flavors to be good, but somewhat on the mild side. I will eat there again and recommend it to others.

This place does not disappoint. Everyone talked about how small it was on the inside so I was expecting 4 or 5 tables, but for a family owned restaurant, it was decent sized. The food was great and the service was amazing. The seating was plenty but if I were them, I would think about expanding because I can see them having a wait even if they doubled in size. All of the food was cooked to perfection and it was served nice and steamy hot. We had 2 birthday celebrations and they made it special.

Great family atmosphere. Authentic Mexican food. It began as “cozy” but the word is out and they are often quite crowded. That’s why I rated 4 stars instead of 5. However I hear that they have purchased a larger place, and soon will have much more room.
