Finally a spot in Ocala for good and varied Venezuelan food!!! Looks like they have some Mexican fare too. My pregnancy craving this week was an Arepa Reina Pepiada and they served me RIGHT arepa was so stuffed I needed a spoon! And the Papelon con Limón (sugar cane iced tea with lemon) was huge too and the perfect balance of sweet and sour. Great location right on Pine. Come check them out! Very sweet couple running it. They deserve to be packed!!!

I went with my mom as we were looking for something to get for lunch. It was set up outside a small renovated gas station turned barber shop. We sat at one of the four available picnic tables. The wait wasn’t horribly long, though it felt like it a bit since we only ordered a Quesibirria, a Coco Rico and a Jarrito drink. We were told there were 4 pieces with the Quesibirria but there were only 3. It seemed like it’s probably they way they cut it because its one tortilla folded and grilled with the filling and then cut into smaller pieces. It was a bit pricey but since it was birria we did expect that. For the one order and the 2 drinks the price was about $24. The food itself was $17 so the drinks were probably like $3.50 each which I think is a bit much but they were good. DO NOTE: I said they were liekly that price as the prices of food and drinks are not anywhere on their menu boards and you have to ask the price if you want to know which is a little off putting and was what told us they would all probably be expensive. But at the end of the day it filled me up even though we split the order, and the flavors were great.

This food truck is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Venezuelan and Mexican taste. The service is just as great, super friendly and welcoming. More people need to know about this place because it truly deserves the spotlight. If you’re looking for delicious food and great vibes, this is the spot!

Not bad but not great. I’ve had way better patacones. The shredded beef lacks flavor

An Absolute Must-Try: El Corrido Food Truck I’m from Venezuela and I finally had the chance to check out El Corrido, and it instantly became my new favorite food truck. If you’re looking for authentic, incredible Latin American flavors, look no further.
The standout dish for me was the Pabellón Plate—it was simply phenomenal. The slow-cooked shredded beef was tender and flavorful, the black beans were perfectly seasoned, and everything came together beautifully. It’s the kind of comfort food that genuinely makes you close your eyes and savor every bite.
But the excellence didn’t stop there. The empanadas were outstanding—perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, savory filling, and not at all greasy. And the arepas were just as great; moist, hearty, and the perfect carrier for their amazing fillings.
The service was quick and friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh. El Corrido delivers on flavor, quality, and authenticity. If you see their truck, do yourself a favor and stop! I’m already planning my next visit.
Highly, highly recommend!

I went today for the first and LAST time. It is OVERPRICED. I order 1 order of the tequeños and 4 empanadas my total was $30. The empanadas had NO flavor at all and the sauce was to watery. The tequeños were a joke 10 dollars for 5 mini tequeños that do not add to 2 whole tequeños. So disappointed, I really had high hopes.
