Very good food… Very busy place… Made reservations as we had a group of 9. We were seated right away, service was good, but slow. It appeared that they may have been short staffed as out waitress was beyond busy, which made for the slow service. She did very well for the situation she was handed I’m sure. Drinks were slow coming from the bar, food came out in a timely manor along with the appetizers… The kids’ plates came out first which I thought was awesome as kids have less patience once they see people getting their food… So that was an awesome on the service part! Food was so good, will definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

We enjoyed dinner last night. My wife’s diet is a bit restricted, but the menu offers plenty of options. Comfortable seating. Belt driven fans! Great, flavorful food. Waitress was a hoot. I’d stop again when in the area.

The food was delicious! Great flavor pairings. Blackened fish tacos, hot chicken sandwich, Thai salad and jambalaya. Hot chicken was HOT and we like spicy. Prices were high but looked comparable to others in the area. We were driving through and really appreciated a non-sports bar option.

Really great place. Drinks and food came quickly plus the environment was friendly. I talked with a 80 year old man who’s kids played hockey and he was the coach. Welcome to New Richmond. A bit more expensive and portions a bit smaller than a Central Wisconsin restaurant.

Overall a good experience, great atmosphere and good customer service. I give 3 stars because we ordered the Steak Alfredo and there were 3 small pieces( we guess about 4 oz) of steak on the pasta. We never thought to ask how much steak and it didn’t say in the menu. The pasta and sauce was good, but for $25.00, with no salad or soup or even bread…not worth it at all. My son ordered the chicken strips for $17.00 and that came with fries, coleslaw and garlic bread. We definitely ordered the wrong entree.

I would recommend Mallards for lunch or dinner when they are not busy. The Front of House service is fantastic, food options and taste are great.

Wonderful service and great food. For dinner service, I was seated quickly and served a Spotted Cow fast. My chicken littles was also served fast and hot. Portions are also a satisfying size. The service was very friendly for our tables orders of a entree and drink to just dessert and a drink. I even ordered a to-go meal which was delivered as checks were being given. I really enjoyed this chill eatery with amazing food.

Great food, unless you have to be gluten free. Ordered the gluten free seafood campechana, which was very tasty! Didn’t think about asking if their chips were home made until after I ate several. They do make their own chips, however not in a dedicated fryer, which then exposes them to any gluten that was fried in the same oil. The waitress felt bad, I could tell when I explained it to her. Unfortunately, I had a very painful week. Because of that I purchased the NIMA gluten sensor, to be able to test on the spot. I hope they reevaluate their gluten free options, because the food is impressive otherwise.
