Super clean and shiny floors.

Food was awful. They need a new kitchen head chef or need cooks. I ordered beef and chicken fajitas, the Guacamole was good. the seasoning was not good ,The beef was tough and chewy. Onions burned. The tortillas were cold and the beans tasted sour. Going bad. Servers were good and fast. FOH was clean. Kitchen needs to desperately turn around before the place goes to shit.

It was overall a great experience and will probably be back to explore more of the menu.
I ordered the Top shelf Fajitas enchiladas on the recommendation of my server.
As I put it to her, if I can only visit here once in my lifetime, what do I order?
It was a very good choice, everything was well cooked and excellent flavours and textures.
All temperatures were on point.
Service was great and only wish I would of had room for the mouth watering dessert she had described.
Having a big empty lot next door meant I was able to drive my semi truck here for supper tonight. Which is a huge deal when considering where to go for a meal as a trucker.
Minor issues with the salsa, it was flat runny and overwhelming tomato taste. Would liked to have seen and tasted some more chunkier from vegetables like onion, cilantro and a little citrus etc..
Verde or green sauce was also a 1 flavour note.
Lacking any full rich flavour and was hotter thanit should be considering they had an even hotter habanero based additional sauce as well if you had really wanted to turn up the heat.
Sorry for nit picking, but was worth a mention as it was a fantastic meal regardless.

YOU CANT HAVE A BOOTH IF YOU HAVE A BABY APPARENTLY. If you get a high chair you can’t have a booth for some reason EVEN THOUGH THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. Even though you can in ANY OTHER RESTAURANT. Poor customer service from the host. Servers are great and the food is mid. From now on I’m going to El tapatio because you can have a high chair at a booth at el Tap.

The Steak bowl was sooo good, full of many flavors. The chicken fajita quesadilla was definitely different and I have no complaints, was crispy and delicious. High quailty food at a good price.

Food was JUST “OK” the places floors was filthy and they couldn’t find our waiter. In reality he was chatting it up with his buddies one booth over that he was waiting on. Even heard him say I’ll be right back gotta see if they know what they want. When n fact we had not even been greeted with a hi yet. Pace was not even busy either at 8:15pm. I live local and this is very typical… Sadly it use to be nice but not for a long while now. Food tasted good just the rest was disappointing.

#LilBarry likes to spice things up! If you are ready to turn up the fun and thrill your taste buds you gotta try this place. Great décor, relaxed atmosphere, and food that taste like you’re on vacation ! The staff is friendly as can be. Lisa, Olivia , and Julie were all most helpful and really fast. Bring the whole family or maybe grab a drink! Once you try this place, you will be back for sure.
