We came here for New Year’s Eve at the beach and were seated immediately at the bar without having reservations. On Wednesdays they do one dollar oysters on the half shell & they’re not to be missed! Very tasty. They also have great shrimp plates- Baltimore style and the pours of wine are generous. Great meal and great service even though it was a full house. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

10⭐️ meal, top to bottom. Masterfully exquisite without being a bit pretentious. We were a party of 14, adults and young adults, and every single dish was fantastic. Oysters, soups, wings, salads, scallop fried rice, fried shrimp, crab cakes, crab deviled eggs, clam pasta. EVERY dish was . Even non-happy hour oysters are a bargain!! Service was warm and inviting and beyond attentive. Arrived just before 5:00 and we were sat immediately on the bay on a perfect evening, although the restaurant filled quickly. Recommend an after dinner drink or dessert upstairs at the bar for more great views.

One of my favorite restaurants. Beautiful views. Phenomenal atmosphere and even better food. There are dollar oysters on the half shell on Wednesdays which has become a regular event with my girlfriend and parents.
Staff is always so friendly and provides excellent service. Peyton has been our server for the last few months and we have developed a great relationship with her. She is phenomenal at her job and we can tell she really enjoys taking care of customers at catch 54.
Nothing but great things to say about catch 54.

First stop on vacation! We started off for happy hour and in my opinion, this is the best happy hour in the area. It’s a “buck of shuck” that’s one dollar per oyster. You cannot find that price anywhere around here. I got a dozen oysters, a beer and a pineapple martini in which they are known for $24. That’s a great deal. Planning on going back later this week. We also stayed for dinner with a large party. They do not accept reservations between the hours of 6pm & 930pm. so plan on waiting for a table, especially with a large group. But the food is worth waiting for it is very good. I would recommend for appetizer the oysters Rockefeller and I had the special for my entrée which was swordfish, (sorry started eating then took pic) it was very good. Our waiter Caleb was very good and attentive, especially for a large group. Parking is a nightmare. They have a very small parking lot in front of the restaurant maybe holds 10 to 15 cars. There is other parking lots around but with two restaurants in the area, they are full all the time, especially in the peak hours. So plan accordingly. There is a motel next-door do not park in the parking lot. You will get a ticket or your car will be towed.

This place is great! The oysters were so fresh. The scallops fried rice and the catfish were delicious and the key lime pie was exceptional! Our server Morgan was very kind and helpful. If you’re visiting Ocean city, this is a must go!

Tonight, the Delaware blue crab soup was quite bland, and for $12, I expected lumps of fresh crab meat—instead, it came in clusters that looked like they were from a can. The soups also arrived late, and we had to remind the server. The shrimp and grits were fairly standard—nothing memorable. From the daily specials, we ordered the salmon with a side of green beans. I was glad I asked for the roasted chili vinaigrette on the side, as it turned out to be very greasy. Unfortunately, the green beans never arrived.
The manager did check in and asked about the food—we were honest with our feedback, and she kindly removed one of the two bland soups from the bill. However, after we mentioned this to our server, the service noticeably declined. We were pretty much forgotten after that and had to wait around for the corrected check and to have it swiped.

We went for a birthday dinner with a few friends. The food was good and reasonably priced. There were 8 people in our party and we all found plenty of choices. Three server (sorry I don’t remember her name) was very friendly, thoroughly knew the menu and made excellent recommendations. We also went on a day when there was a good discount on the meal. The ONLY down side was we seated too close to the front door on a very cold and windy day.

Fantastic waterfront view of the bay! The parking lot was crowded but we were able to walk in around 5:30 and got seated at an outdoor table. The food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful! Carley T. was a fantastic server!! 🙂

We have been a customer for many years. Tonight was a major disappointment. The menu changed and is very limited. There were 4 of us and not one of us were happy about their meal. They use to have some great dishes and lots of choices. What happened to the country fried chicken, the scallop fried rice bowl. They had a great fish and chips and buttermilk shrimp. Totally disappointed.
