This is the best place for Mexican in Lebanon. We normally call and order that way we can eat when we get home, but the chips and salsa are great sitting in there nice clean restaurant. Don’t let the outside of this place fool you. The grilled chicken tacos are so good!

We were seated quickly. Took a bit to place our drink orders. They had $2 margaritas on the rocks. They were about 16 Oz. They were OK, $2 was a fair price for them.
We had the mocoljete. It was good & also a fair price.
Salsa was as expected.
All in all, it was OK. Service was a bit lacking. Restaurant could’ve been a bit cleaner. Prices were fair.

This is one of my family’s regular dinner destinations! We love it here! Food and service are always top-notch. We always get our food in 15 minutes or less. The margaritas deals on the weekend are a great bargain! I’ve been getting g something new every time I go in for nearly a year now, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. Keep it up El Charro!

I call this place a secret hole. Looks around the best aren’t everything!! The second you walk in you know you found a spot. The price dirt cheap the food is top notch.. for about 5 minutes after finishing my food I thought about ordering again for take home.. I noted it on my gps I will stop again for sure. I parked a semi truck right out front. Tons of parking for trucks with trailers.

Food was amazing but the service was absolutely terrible, called in to make an order they gave us our total and wait time, came back maybe 5 minutes after when they said it would be done and to our surprise not only did they claim they never received our order but now our order is $5 more than it originally was??

BE AWARE, when you order the dinners “TO GO” you do not get the same portions as sitting in the restaurant, but youll pay the same price. I have ordered 3 different times, got the dinner meals, one little salsa, paid full price for a small queso, it came in the same small to go container as the salsa did, not even close to what you get in the bowl at the table! Ordered three meals last week, one small bag of chips and 3 little salsas for 3 adults. When I mentioned that we should get the same about of salsa as whats on the table “because the girl tried to charge me 50 cents per little container” i got dirty looks.
ive been coming here since they opened over 20 years ago, their really starting to take advantage of people. Charro used to be really great, but these last several years they are going down hill.
Luckly there are better places here in town to eat Mexican espc with Ixtapa now.
