The food was nothing special, and I’m pretty sure the rice was a few days old. I was visiting Dwight, Illinois for work, and while the food here wasn’t the best, I’m sure it’s one of the healthiest options in town.

Not often do I rate this low, unfortunately I have to give them 2 stars. Food was ordered but they didn’t have shrimp for the fajitas so they just replaced with steak which is whatever. 3 order of chicken nachos for kids which were very mediocre. Ordered my fish tacos that were made with chicken I didn’t say anything because I don’t mind chicken either so I made do. But man lemme tell you I am sicker than a dog today after my “ fish chicken tacos “ and I never get sick from food. So I’m like 99.999% sure it had to of been my plate to do it. The bigger the back the better review I say. But anyways the margarita I had was alright for downtown Dwight. So I’ll give that to them. But I’m gna have to go down the street next time. A solid 1 1/2 stars at best for this spot so I’ll give it a 2 on the board for google

Ask for Taco salad, only cone with minimal meat, lettuce, chunk of tomato and, a glop of sourcream. Every other Mexican restaurant has meat, beans, lettuce, diced tomato, guacamole, and olives. This place is overpriced (because they can in a small-town) go to Habenero Grill , or the restaurant in Diamond its exactly how it should be. Terrible place.

Horrible customer service. I ordered through door dash and the entire order was wrong. When I contacted them directly I was hung up on after he asked me what he was suppose to do about it. I ordered the burrito and it came with only meat and sour cream when it should have been chicken, beans, rice, cheese and lettuce. Just a waste of my money and time. Not to mention they were only 0.2 miles from my location and it took over an hour and a half. NEVER AGAIN!! Be aware in these small towns, because they have limited choices, you can get horrible service.

Stopped by for dinner on the drive for a business meeting. The restaurant is set in a quaint little town. Was very busy even though we reached 15 mins before closing time. They were kind enough to allow us in. Food was amazing. Authentic Mexican taste. Servers were courteous and made sure we were comfortable. Would definitely be my stop on my next visit to the business meeting in the area.

UPDATE: 10/2023 — I went in again for lunch today. The food was decent, but yet again, I was charged $1 extra for cheese sauce that I didn’t order -and- cheese sauce is part of the lunch special item I ordered!!! And, when I pointed out the error at the register, there was no apology, no explanation, nothing… just a look like “whoops, got caught on that one”. So, yet again… Prices didn’t match the menu. Fool me twice … I won’t be back. TAKE NOTE — the menu prices for the “Lunch Specials” apparently need to be updated!!!!
From previous : Got the taco lunch special. Was supposed to be $7.75 + $1.75 for extra taco. But, I was charged $1 extra for chicken (menu said “choice of meat”) and was charged $2.99 for the extra taco. All that being said, the food was very good.
