My husband and I were leaving after celebrating his birthday weekend at the beach today. We had stopped at a different restaurant before deciding to eat here. BEST DECISION EVER!!! The food was delicious!! I loved the variety of menu choices! Even the owner came to the table to the table to ask about our meal! We will definitely be coming back for the amazing food and vibes! Truly an experience! I also suggest for those stopping through to “capture the moment” and purchase one of photos the staff takes of you and your party! Also, our server John was giving very much TOP TIER customer service…ask for him!!!

Our food was really good but our server was not. Didn’t ask what we wanted to drink at first and left us with chips and salsa and no drink for 20 minutes. Our food took a while which was okay because it was a Saturday night, totally understandable. I myself am a server and have never left a table alone for 45 minutes without checking on them. We wanted to take our food to go and couldn’t even do that bc we could not find her. had to go up to the front to pay. won’t be coming back to this location.

What a fun place for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was eclectic and authentic. Our server Heather was so friendly and sweet. The live music was wonderful, with some of the fastest Mexican finger picking guitar playing I’ve ever heard.
I had the carnitas plate, and my beautiful lady had the Mango chicken quesadilla. Absolutely delicious entrees, and the Horchata was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I grew up in AZ not far from the border. When I went to pay, they saw my Marine Corps emblem on the credit card and gave me an unbelievable discount.
I’m local and have a favorite little place where I eat Mexican food once a week. After coming here and being treated like royalty while watching live music… I just charged my favorite spot. I’ll be here for our weekly Mexican date night moving forward.
The manager was also an absolutely wonderful lady who asked how our server was and lit up when we started giving praises. It’s great to see someone who loves their job and treats their employees so well.
5 stars all the way around and really set the tone for our date night. Thank you for the positive vibes and great dining experience.

I was looking for the perfect venue and restaurant for my Selena themed birthday in Myrtle Beach, and El Cerro and the entire staff far exceeded all of my expectations!!! From the moment I met Frances and explained my vision, she immediately was eager to help me make all of my birthday wishes come true. Frances was extremely friendly professional and went above and beyond to accommodate me and my 40 guests for dinner and dancing after. The karaoke stage and experience made this even more special. The service was amazing and super quick. All of our food and drinks came out expeditiously and was delicious. After dinner and kareoke, we headed upstairs to the VIP area where Fernando also took care of us and made it an extra special night. Me and all of my guests visiting from Raleigh were extremely impressed with the beauty of El Cerro and the deliciousness of the food and drinks. I cannot say enough good things about El Cerro. This was absolutely one of my best birthdays ever. Thank YOU SO MUCH EL CERRO I can’t wait to come back!!!

I ordered food from here 3/2 before 8PM (Well before their closing time). I ordered $32.05 worth of food. I arrive to pick up my food and surprisingly the restaurant was closed. This wasn’t reflected on their website, google page, nor online ordering service. All references said 9PM closing time with the restaurant fully open. Fast forward to today (3/3), I’ve called them over 5 times to get a refund. No one has answered. Now i have to file a chargeback via my credit card. Very bad service
