Awesome restaurant for locals and tourists alike. Very big, suitable for large groups or date nights. We got the chicken wings with honey garlic sauce, dumplings, kimchi pancake, and the famous dessert pancake. Sam (the chef) stopped by our table to introduce himself and chat for a moment. The staff came by frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The melon cocktail was fabulous, and the margarita was just ok. Our favorite dishes were the chicken wings and the kimchi pancake. If you don’t like the flavor of butterscotch (i love it), then you might not like the dessert pancakes!

An amazing experience at this Korean BBQ. From the very beginning you can feel the quality in everything: the atmosphere, the service, and of course the food. It was my first time trying Wagyu beef and it completely exceeded my expectations tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was honestly exciting to try it for the first time.

The waiter was very attentive the entire time, guiding us and making sure everything was perfect. And to finish, the dessert was delicious the perfect ending to an experience I would definitely love to repeat.

Went with family and had a great time. Food was great and decently priced for midtown. Good size portions. Our server, Denise, was very nice and attentive. Can’t wait to come back.

We ordered:
Buldak dumplings (very spicy)
Cucumber salad (delish!)
Kimchi pancake (not my favorite)
Chicken Wings (amazing!)
Cheeseburger (great!)
Japchae (fantastic!)
Fried Rice (so-so)
Rosé Rigatoni (scrumptious!)
Pancakes and Soft-Serve Swirl for dessert (5⭐️)

Honestly I was a little skeptical looking at the reviews but it was honestly not bad. We went during happy hour. The fried chicken was pretty darn good and it was definitely better than bonchon. It was a very crispy batter and juicy chicken. Though the seasoning was slightly on the salty side. Rose rigatoni delicious, kimchi pancakes were very crispy as well. The golden pancakes were a little too sweet for me but it was good. The only thing that was average was the burger. Even the fries were average.

I had such a great experience here with no hassle. I was seated immediately and greeted warmly. I knew exactly what I was coming for…. pancakes and wings! Those honey butter pancakes are so bomb! At this location the pancakes are a mini version of the ones at Golden Diner location which is the sister restaurant to Golden Hof. Literally a party in your mouth when you eat these cakes! Warm honey and buttery! The Korean chicken wings were so good too! I went with the soy honey garlic, yummy! I wanted to try the lobster salad it was good! It was something I just wanted to try it, didn’t go with what I was eating but… , lol. For drinks I had a yuzu margarita which was great! They do have happy hour as well from 3-6pm daily! Good eats and a good time ! I will return! Most importantly staff was so pleasant!

Incredible food, experience, atmosphere, and staff. My favorite dish was the Rose Rigatoni. I really wanted to order a second one but had to hold back lol. We also tried the Fried Rice, Kimchi Jigae, and the Burger & Fries. Everything was packed with flavor, and the staff were attentive, kind, and completely on point. Ohhh, don’t forget to leave some room for them honey pancakes. And definitely don’t miss their happy hour 3PM – 6PM if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back to try some other things on the menu.

Came by Golden Hof after seeing it on a new restaurants to check out list and was looking forward to the casual Korean fried chicken menu.

After being greeted by the friendly hosts at the front, I was escorted upstart by elevator. The Korean flair of the boozy cocktail I had was a perfect fall drink with its cinnamon spice and balanced sweetness. The dumplings are spicy, cheesy and delicious. I personally love spicy food it and the cheesiness was a nice touch and almost makes you forget you’re having dumplings and not something else like ravioli.

They have an option to cook at the table with a grill in the middle. Next time if I come back with a big group, I may have to try it..

My server Chris was great with the recommendations and check-ins and the rest of the wait staff made sure my water glass was never empty. Glad I got to check it out.

Very disappointed.

It took us more than ten minutes to be seated with reservations. The entrance design was underwhelming so that every time somebody comes in, you get hit by a huge piece of fabric.

The food is very Americanized and the bbq cutes as well. Most of the cuts have good quality, but the seasoning is very off. Everything in this meal we ordered was just too salty—including the famous pancakes. The fried chicken wings are salty and texture was off, as if it was marinated for days. That being said, the servers working the bbq was very friendly, although just a bit in rush during the rush dinner hours.

The take-out bags have a stinky smell like it was placed next to rotten food. It also ripped apart after my ten-minute walk home.

Will not visit again.

Golden Hof Korean Bar (NYC) is an absolute gem. We went for the grill and it was downright sumptuous, every bite felt like someone in the kitchen had whispered a blessing over it. The staff couldn’t have been more delightful; warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to guide us through the experience. The ambience hit that sweet spot too: lively without being loud, cozy without feeling cramped.

If you’re craving Korean BBQ done right, with great energy, great people, and food that feels like a celebration—Golden Hof delivers. Highly recommend.

Delicious food that is a perfect Korean/American/Italian fusion. Great selection of alcoholic & non alcoholic option; to well blend of food such as Rose Rigatoni, Busan lobster roll…even the Kimchi Jigae tasted different than traditional tofu soup though still delicious. Food came out fast despite busy brunch time and our server was the friendliest. Great experience and would come back to try more things especially dessert!
